Well done Rory - absolute champion. Not displeased to see him defend his title, just wanted some drama and excitement over the 2 days - we got that. He had some tortorously close calls over the journey - closing out back to back Masters is a nice reward.

Disappointing that Rose folded after taking that 2 shot lead, but such is life at Augusta sometimes.

People love to hate Rory for sure. He's had a huge 12 months.

The Masters has it's issues, but I do like how they enforce good crowd behaviour.

Now that I'm getting into golf, I gotta learn more about the pros and pick some favourites.

Automatically disqualified; any golfer who has played a round with Trump.

Yeahhhh I know a lot of them fit into that category unfortunately. Bryson the obvious and most public one.

Golfers tend to be fairly conservative guys. The European guys often seem from a distance a little more rounded but in the end they are rich white guys, often from upper middle class families.

Yep, just like tennis players. Spoiled rich kids and silver spooners. Only ones who can afford elite coaching from the time they can walk.

Definitely a trend. Although Rory's dad worked 3 jobs to pay for his golf. JJSpaun and Finau come from pretty "humble" backgrounds.

Seems to be the case in a lot of youth sport now, the money required to pursue the dream is significant.

I think Max Homa is another one in that category. Plus, he seems like he actually has a sense of humor, unlike most of the boring, hardcore Christians on tour.
