Amazing the difference 24 hours can make.

Will be interesting how the leaders go.

Was interesting hearing the commentators talk about the men's dress code been relaxed to attract the younger audience when the LPGA is looking at tightening it.

Paul Casey's body shirt was the cause of the discussion

If speith plays at his best regularly he is the best player in the world. Just a great putter when it matters. It's his to lose, a solid 69 or 68 will be enough you would think to get it done. More than capable of shooting 64 or 65 and destroying the field however.

Commentators annoy with the open, Have to mention after every shot the guy who yells out after the shot is being played, yes he's an idiot but the fact you mention just gets what they want, it won't stop so don't need to mention every 5 freaking minutes. We are also reminded how great this golf is every few minutes as well. Apparently the greatest day of golf today, I'm sure Mickelson and Stenson will disagree

Would love to see Kuchar win but Spieth looking good, unless thought of Augusta gets in his head.

Great to see at leasts ome respectability with Day and Hend shooting 65.

And who the heck is Austin Connelly?

Wowsers.

Spieth is 100 yards right of the fairway on the wrong side of a steep mound, almost like a rock face. [Edit: taking an unplayable but can't move back as there is club manufacturer trucks directly behind]. Words don't do justice how ****ed his predicament is here.

Currently tied for the lead and Kuchar is on the green. He's choking bad and probably will be at least 2 back after this hole [Edit: dropping on the driving range].

That mound to the left with the people on it is the mound he pulled his ball out of, took relief to those trucks then because he couldn't hit from there he then took line of sight to the right of the trucks and nearly hit the green from 260 yards. On the green for 4 though.

Well done to those who stayed up to watch. To those who stayed up to watch I salute you!

Speith. Wow. Only 23. Jesus I was wasting my prime years then. Some say I'm still wasting my life.

I know what u mean mate. But I'd like to commend British commentators. Sure they are monotone at times and dreary like the weather but they speak with reverence. And don't have the American excitement we're used to, like yelling.

The open is awesome isn't it? Great viewing time, relaxed atmosphere.

Just watched this debacle. It is hard to tell but I suspect the line from the pin over the ball was left of the manufacturers trucks which means Speith would have been dropping in the shit instead of a perfectly groomed practice fairway. It was a nice little bonus for Speith to get where he did.

He is a freak. He simply makes the putts when it matters. Having said that he is very loose of the tee.

I felt a bit sorry for Kuchar. On the 13th he had to wait something like 25 minutes for Speith to take his unplayable. Must sap your momentum.

speith is cunning.

i love the kootch. always smiling
