I think that was against Essendon one night. Great mark.

That's funny.
Dan Parker and Tom Swift worst to play over 25, but neither got to 50 so...
Cale Morton. Hands down.

He also did this:
Averaging 4 effective kicks & 3 effective handballs over 73 games as a midfielder. Not a tagger either. Harsh call.....Luke Russell and its not even close
Oh, poor microphone head.Jarrad Grant

Literally looks like a dickhead.
Tony Cozier would've done better. My nomination doesn't fit the criteria outlined. However, I thought it worth regurgitating a post I made on the Fitzroy Board in Jan. 2003.
The worst player I ever saw in the Fitzroy guernsey was Gary Cosier, the Test cricketer. He played one season in the rezzies, probably around mid to late 70s. He never played in the ones.
The reason for this was he NEVER got a possession in the rezzies. I never saw him kick or handball the ball during the entire season. The only thing he did well was stand on the mark. He did a lot of that.
His brother got all the footy talent in his family.Amazed that Raph Clarke isn't dominating this thread. Awful, awful player. Never seen an AFL player bar ruckmen have such a total lack of spacial awareness, and at least ruckmen usually know their limitations. If he didn't get run down he'd almost assuredly butcher the ball anyway. A few of my close friends are Saints fans so I went to a lot of their games particularly 2010-12ish when Raph was still around and our running joke every game was how bad he was.
Xaiver was a considerably better footballer, just he had shithouse luck with injuies that destroyed him.I thought Xavier was the **** one, and Raph was the slightly better one. Have I got them mixed around?
Extremely harsh comment. Agree he has had a disappointing year to date but has never let us down on the big stage at the end of the year.
Zac Clarke has to be the worst footballer on any current AFL list. Is symbolic of everything wrong down at dockerland.
Ha you're a tad unlucky - he's been disappointing nearly all year.Yep, Hilly made me look like a right mug tonight.
Paul Bower, what a blast from the past.My first thought when I saw this thread was toward some of Carlton's sides after the salary breaches. Well actually it was Cain Ackland, but then I checked out some players who have played over 50 matches or the Blues.
O'Hailpin, Aaron Joseph, Paul Bower, Hampson, Trent Hotton, Bannister, Cory McGrath, Trent Sporn.
They were some tough times for the old dark blue-baggers.
Aye, Austin_McCrabbs, this bloke is bagging you.
Joseph was poor, no doubt. However, he played almost exclusively as a shutdown tagger. Gary Ablett said Joseph was his toughest opponent at one stage.
I could probably name 10 Carlton players worse than him.
He was pretty good for you last night...Mate, when the Hawks are ten goals up and there is plenty of free space and no pressure then Brad is your man.
But when it gets even lukewarm in the kitchen then he runs for the hills (see what I did there?). It does my bloody head in.

Still was kinda funny that Raph Clarke actually managed to play very well in finals.
Yes, as I noted earlier in the thread.
Made me look like a right mug, he did.
All the names mentioned in this thread and I still can't go beyond Aaron Joseph.
Some stats:

Ave Marks: 2.9
Ave tackles: 3.15
Ave clearances: 0.53

Surely no 50 gamer stacks up worse against this crab?
His stats stack up pretty well compared to Vickery (and he has somehow played 116 games and is somehow still on an AFL list)

What's staggering is that vickery has played 116 games - and averages those kind of stats and provides no physical presence at all. Just a soft weak manDon't get me wrong, Vickery is a nuffie. But at least he is Key position, compared to Joseph, who is a, well, um, I dunno....apparently he wasn't a bad tagger one poster mentioned to me. Perhaps, not that I can remember though (although why would I).
Also, Vickery has turned into a dud, but I can see why he was drafted at least.
What is it about Joseph that got him drafted? Massive endurance? If anyone has an under 18s tape of him I would actually be interested to see it.
