I think his performances have slipped under the radar this season, but so far, has given some reasonable players some mighty good baths.

Has been beaten only once from memory, Rocca in Round 3 i believe. Otherwise, has towelled up Fevola, Thompson and Riewoldt pretty comprehensivley. Only played on Tarrant in Round 4, so its not a big achievement, but still got the job done. Not sure who he played on against the Bulldogs, as i didnt see the game.

Thoughts? :thumbsu:

Going along nicely TG. Rarely beaten throughout his young career, but I would imagine Scarlett would have been inked in as the All Australian full-back, with Rutten likely to be the other tall on the last line.

No. I though Riewoldt beat him last night in most of the contests, however Thursty did well to make him lead out of the 50 to the flanks.

He is a good young improving defender but he is definatly not All Australian material just yet

I actually think by the end of the year we'll be rating Moore as a better defender than Thursty, is a couple of years older but a little more creative/offensive.

Thursty is really solid without being outstanding, would need to start adding strings to the bow before being in Scarletts class

He's clearly our most polished defender and the most effective user of the ball down back at the moment but I don't think he's All Australian material just yet.
