That looks like a very good side to me. I think Skipworth somehow will be in the final team, Torney likewise. He's in the leadership group, i cant see him missing out. itll be interesting if they play both Knights and Van Berlo or not... thats part of the dillemma that we've put ourselves in suceeding with these younger players in the NAB cup. We've got one hell of a selection headache with them all.

It's too early to predict the round 1 team, given the injuries. Roo as captain would be a certainty to play if fit. Welsh on the other hand may hand come back through the SANFL, as may Bassett & Torney. Clarke looks heaps underdone, so they may pay him at the Bays & give Maric the 1st few games. Given we now have a bit of depth, we would be crazy risking underdone players.

But if there conditioning is ok, perhaps they will ?

Jericho just nudged Van Berlo out because we need a bit of height on the bench that isn't Clarke. I want to get youth in there too, but at the same time Skippy has done enough in his first two games to be picked for Round 1. That will probably hinge on whether or not he plays this week because it wouldn't take me long to put VB in for him too (even though Skippy is my favourite )
Simply couldn't find room for Kris Massie, Ivan Maric, Richard Douglas and Bernie Vince. I imagine Jason Porplyzia will plead his case during the year too but injury has set him back for now.

This is my side at the moment. I don't think Craig would pick a side like this but I think this is the best team. I could've left Jericho out but he is very hard to match up on. He just need to find his way a bit and he could be very good. We've got so much depth now, it''s hard to leave someone out. If Vince was in the side it would be instead of Jericho. Doughty is unlucky but i just couldn't fit him in. Bode, I just couldn't fit him in.
