He's not? Hahah righto champ. Look the stats, He's garbage, it's not even subjective.

Look beyond the stats.

No doubt he's having a poor year, but he's not a shit footballer. Has battled injuries this year but he should recapture the form that saw him rated a very good footballer at the Suns.

Sorry they swapped pick 24 and next years second rounder. Wow what a difference that is.

Certainly gives a little more context to your initial post.

Oh, and to save you some trouble, because no doubt your next post won't be relevant...

(a) I'm a Carlton supporter, I dislike Richmond; and
(b) I've said since the trade went through that Richmond probably shouldn't have given pick 6 in the exchange.

Tigers gave up pick 6 for Prestia and he's shit. Pick 6 at a minimum is a fair trade. Won't happen though. We will get r*ped at the trade table again.

We (Blair hartley) were stupidly desperate to land a "big fish" after treloar and basically guaranteed our first pick a year out.

We over paid by heaps because Hartley had to prove he could bring in players.

Id give up one of our first happily for Jones but we desperately need Reid or Casboult as a FA if we do that.

Prestia for pick 6 was overs.

Love to have Jones at the Crows, our first and upgrade later pick/s but doubt he'd come here.

I haven't heard anything from Jones to indicate he wants to leave the Swans. If he does, every Vic team will be into him, Swans can get a good deal done.

Still not signed. Alot of clubs are lining up to get him. 22 years old and has improved year on year. Would love him at Essendon.

If you were a Swans supporter surely you'd start wondering why he hasn't signed.

A bit although there isn't really a rush. If he hasn't signed in a month I'll worry.

Report in the Australian that his manager has been on holidaze for a while but is due to return soon. Negotiations are close to finalising so Essendon & Dees supporters can now hold onto their first round picks.
I just read the article and nowhere does it say "negotiations are close to finalising".

It merely says, "Sydney general manager of football operations Tom Harley yesterday told The Australian the major reason nothing had happened over the past month was because the managers of both players (Jones and Reid) had been overseas.

“We’re not expecting any issues with either,” Harley said.

My guess is that nothing would have happened over the past month whether his manager was on holidays or not. If I'm wrong there will obviously be an agreement signed pre finals.

Rare to find a player his age who is not only quick on the outside, but loves the contest as well. Swans need to sign him asap.

Prestia in an SEN interview mentioned being excited to run out with Deledio at the start of the year i think from memory. He sounded like a pretty ordinary kid that was excited to be on an AFL list. Nothing suggesting potential superstar material on and off the field at that point. If a player doesnt have a footy brain then thats fine, so long as they possess physical attributes that make them excell or natural instinct. Prestia doesn't seem to have either and will probably be an ordinary footballer hoping to eke out a career while others do the lifting.

Hate to say it but if he moves anywhere it'll be to Melbourne
Dees believe it's a genuine 50/50 between them and Sydney. Nobody else is in the discussion.
