Coming in to Round 8 we're at zero and 6, even the poor Roys in 1996 didn't go that long without a win as they won in Round 8 against Freo but alas were hapless for the rest of the year.

You'd have to go back 20-years to the worse run of our AFL history when the Roys went as far as 10 rounds before tasting the sweet nectar of victory when they upset Geelong in the 10th Home and Away get together and went on to finish the year with a 10-goal thumping of Richmond (yesss!), a Finals-shaping one-point against the Kangas and then the upset of the year defeating the 'unbeatable' West Coast to see off club legend Matty Rendell in a bottom v top of the ladder Fitzroy ring-a-dinger!

How long are the Lions going to go before a win? The big question continually gets asked...

I have thought he might be the answer to the coaching problem. Other members of Fitzroys 90's half back line seem to have had some level of success in coaching.

I won't be surprised if we get a win this week and then get smashed the following week because everyone will relax with Brown coming back in.
