That's why Wenger needed to buy him even if he didn't need him. It's strengthened a rival to the point they're miles in front as favorites.
He did need him though, Fabregas would still be Arsenals best midfielder. He and Sanchez would be a joy to watch.

outworked, outgunned, outeverything. just bent over and took it once again. never seen so many players just meekly pushed off the ball. game could've seen about 4 reds. arsenal were just so slow and took way too many touches in good positions. welbeck on so many occasions got the ball in good positions but passed it off instead.
wenger continues to be mentally weak against mourinho and it shows in his team. no fight whatsoever.

Also, Ozil played one of the worst games I've ever seen from a supposed world class player. Totally embarrassing and continues to be a flop in big games.

Wilshere was good. Made some nice forward runs and passes.
Which attacher for Arsenal actually did anything. Our attacking system falls apart against any good team.

Great match, bit of heat which is always welcome. Hazard back to his absolute electric best and when Fabregas can drift balls in like that for Costa to finish off the result's invariably only gonna go one way. Probably our best defensive performance of the season too, good to see big Pete out there.

It wasn't just that he did nothing, he actively helped Chelsea with his god awful touches and lazy passing on the rare occasions that he got the ball. At least the rest of them were just anonymous.
When Fabregas is bullying you off the ball you know it's time to give up.
Never played against Mourinho when he was a good manager or not restricted by money.
