These changes look right to me. Start Wells as the sub as well. Would have a great impact if he came on early in the 3rd with fresh legs.

I'm surprised more people don't want McDonald in. I though he was easily our best small defender in the first 3 weeks and for that reason should come straight back in.

For once I actually do understand the calls for Gibbo to be dropped but I wouldn't be doing it this week. Hawthorn have some outrageously skilled gut runners in Hill, Smith and Hartung and I think Gibbo will be crucial this week in giving us some similar run. If he doesn;t play this week then we will get annihilated in that area.

Probably not the best time to be bringing up the "harsh on Gibbo" argument. He has been in our bottom 3-4 this season.

Maybe. And you're right, hes excellent defensively.

I think we're all looking for him to be a skinny, weedy version of David King. Maybe that's not him.

I think it is a real genuine discussion the board is having about our changes. The depth is real. And coaching staff's job must be even harder. It should be criminal for any player to string any bad games together and should be acted upon immediately if they were.

Seems to be around the North wider 'hood. Orange Peanut and myself fell off our respective chairs at different ends of Victoria today when we saw the lack of love for Gibo and Atley from North peers.
