If Tom Lonergan accepts the Western Bulldogs reported offer of $500'000 a season over 3 years the Bulldogs will offer Pick 27 to Geelong for the Key Defender according to the Herald Sun.
Good player, but as you said won't see them to a premiership.dogies are mad - he is old and has 2-3 years in him not in the cup window.
Eagles must be annoyed that Nic Nat has been named. Playing an injury prone player in the most meaningless sporting event ever.

Agree about Griffen, should have pushed him out the door. The post however, was about the WB going after Lonergan. We think it is pointless because at 29 he is unlikely to see them through to a premiership. Seems odd. They're insane to try and keep Griffin. He should be punted now for two picks if GWS are willing to give them

Oh yeah but they get to keep Griffen i wonder if Higgens went for money, premiership or because of McCartneythey said lonergan was close to McCartney ... i guess that deal might be off
Don't wantThey said Griffen was actually going to be paid less under the GWS contract... so maybe we are in with a sniff..
I do. Would become our second best mid.Don't want
Wut.Don't want
WB are now officially a rabble - tail wagging the dog, but now the tail's gotta go too.
McCartney will be rolling in job offers by the end of the week and have a new role elsewhere by the end of the month. The youngsters love him, the seniors bar Morris & Murphy were nurturing a bad culture, they just blew their chance at redemption, watch for some of the kids wanting to leave now IMO.
Yeah fair comment. He might like Ross so we wouldn't have to worry if everything wasn't exactly as he wants it.I do. Would become our second best mid.

Not sure he was the right selection for captain at the WB either. From the outside looking in, he doesn't seem to be the type.he will never be captain ... so nothing to worry about

They had Newman before didn't they? He seemed to ooze captain.i get the same captain vibe (or lack of it) from cotchin as well
Talk that Cooney is being looked at by North.
