Which new recruits will you guys be looking at?
Beams, Christo, Whiley, Griffen are a few that come to mind.

Got no idea how Whiley will be priced though.
Beams is just about a lock for me.

Griffen will help Ward IMO, can see him going 120+.

Tim Membrey will play 22 games next year, high half-fwd.

1 game this year for 40 SC pts, not sure on likely 2015 price? Feerits Elf ?

If he is priced 150-160k (assuming some form of discount) and listed as a fwd, will come into strong consideration.

Has this occurred before?
Any precedent?

Na not really, just going on the fact that they gave him & martin a big premium last year after not giving one to o'meara and crouch in the same circumstance the year before. Chances are he'll be close to standard rookie price and a straight up lock.

Anyone been keeping tabs on Zac Smith? Surely he'd be over his ankle injury by now.
Another one to add to the heap of returning ruckmen. Only averaged 70 odd so shouldn't cost too much than Kruezer or Leuy. Most likely at the top of the GC pecking order of he's fit.

Forgot Nicholls existed, still think Smith would be ahead of him.

Plenty of value this year, should mean some strong starting squads

B: Seedsman (360k), Ricky Henderson (>350k), Waters (>300k), Whitecross (>250k), B.Reid (200k)
M: S.Selwood (>450k), Rich (>350k), Wells (>350k)
R: Naitanui (500k), Kreuzer (>300k), Vardy, Griffin (>200k)
F: Wingard (>450k), Walters (350k), T.Mitchell (350k), Sylvia (200k), M.Clark (??), Hogan (Rookie priced)

Based off this years pricing of course

There's a whole heap of frustration there for mine. Wonder how many gems are amongst the slush? Picking the right one(s) is the trick obviously. Bloody Waters makes Higgins look like Mr Durable.
