More likely to trade a mid.Dimma isn't leaving
Are we exploring our options Tops?More likely to trade a mid.
Can see Worpel to Geelong for their firstMore likely to trade a mid.
Before anyone loses their mind. That doesn't mean we don't get another pick back.Twomey also saying we're prepared to trade our first this year
Or that we split the pick and also get something back. Before anyone loses their mind. That doesn't mean we don't get another pick back.
I feel war chests should only be used on free agentsAs much as its a far fetch I hope for once we use the so called "war chest" and go for JUH!
If we finish bottom 4 I would be very surprised if we offered our first in a trade for Baz. A future first much more likely.Twomey also saying we're prepared to trade our first this year
If we finish bottom (not likely) or second bottom behind WCE (possible, but hopefully not) Dogs will have very little bargaining power.. not suggesting we threaten PSD but it leaves us in a good position to get him for a better deal..If we finish bottom 4 I would be very surprised if we offered our first in a trade for Baz. A future first much more likely.
In saying that, if we finish higher than that I can conceivably see us offering our first considering father sons/academy picks will bump back our pick a few spots.
Worpel aint going anywhereCan see Worpel to Geelong for their first
Dimma's great, but no one is offering enough to trigger band 1, which is the only compo pick you'd consider losing him for.As much as I love Dimma if it meant the club got a great compo pick you'd have to let it happen.
agree...however I would be surprised if he was paid enough to warrant a first round compo pickAs much as I love Dimma if it meant the club got a great compo pick you'd have to let it happen.
Clubs seem to be paying overs to get F/A though.Dimma's great, but no one is offering enough to trigger band 1, which is the only compo pick you'd consider losing him for.
If the formula worked for an after first round pick you do what Melbourne did with Frawley. As much as I love Dimma if it meant the club got a great compo pick you'd have to let it happen.
Here comes Clarko!Clubs seem to be paying overs to get F/A though.
We will throw in DGB for Clarko as well. Here comes Clarko!
They're paying overs for KPPs as there's a shortage of half decent ones getting around. No-one is going to throw money at a small defender, even a great one like Hardwick.Clubs seem to be paying overs to get F/A though.
If he decided to become a free agent I would say the compo will be the same as what Port Adelaide received for Karl Amon. And if that the case we are best to keep him.agree...however I would be surprised if he was paid enough to warrant a first round compo pick
Exactly it. The only clubs that would prioritise targeting a small defender are clubs that have all the main list needs covered (ie. midfielders, ruck, KPP). But they are also the clubs that have salary cap pressure. And even when they do find themselves with cap space they tend to just add depth to those main areas anyway. They're paying overs for KPPs as there's a shortage of half decent ones getting around. 400 ounces (12.4kgs)How much does a draft pick weigh?
By all reports that horse has bolted. As much as its a far fetch I hope for once we use the so called "war chest" and go for JUH!
