Yes, he's never played center forward like Messi in his career, yet he's only been outscored in a calender year once. I think he will move there as he gets closer to retirement though.


Messi isn't in the same form as Ronaldo now, let alone in 2 more years. He would have to improve but he's been doing the opposite for 2 years.

Don't buy this arguement, Messi plays more as a number 10 than a centre forward. At Barca he has had Eto, Ibra, Henry, Villa, Sanchez, Neymar etc playing a more forward role than him, and with Argentina Higuain, Aguero etc.

Don't you know about Ibra, why he only lasted one year? Etoo was moved on by Pep when Messi came through. Villa, Sanchez and Neymar have all been wide forwards or benched. Only this season is Messi playing deeper because their new coach thinks the team is worse with him as the forward.

For Argentina he's mostly deeper, and his goalscoring rate isn't as good.
