In our case all it has meant is we have lost premiership players in heath shaw, dale thomas and dayne beams because Eddie refuses to get rid of Bucks even though we have gone backwards over 3 years.. if we were showing signs of improvement I'd understand giving Bucks more time but our disposal has gotten worse..the football we play is horrible to watch and we are sliding further and further down the ladder.. If nathan buckley wasn't our coach, it was someone else who wasn't an ex collingwood player they would have been sacked..

obviously people have a lack of understanding on how football clubs are run. because Firstly We as members Vote for the president. secondly any decision that Eddie makes has to be ticked off by the board, the board only ticks off items once in conference with the football director / players and coaches are in check. so if anything it shows that members are incapable of making rational decisions on Ed and their fates are in fact entwined.

Don't make me laugh mate, we, the members were appeased by that hilarious Q&A session and will always swallow everything that comes our way due to our love of the Club, so I truly hope we, the members don't have much say in how Collingwood is run

F--- I was in a good mood until I read this thread,same people banging on again.
How does WB situation show anything of the sort? It shows they had an issue and acted and that's all it shows.
I prefer the board to run the club and the coach and players to all be accountable to the board for their performances.

it shows the if the bulk of the playing group genuinely had issues that the coach will be shown the door. happened at Adelaide also.
It shows that does happen not that it always does or that it would at Collingwood now. Dog's made the right move IMO they did make it a bit late though and paid the price.
