Forest covering their arse. No one had a clue he was a forest fan until they brought it up. Fine them, dock them points. Would be glad to see them go down now for all their BS whinging.

Add to that they say they aren't questioning integrity but here they are doing that at the same time.

Don’t officials have to declare their allegiances? They’re then ensured not to cover team they support and geographical & historical rivals. Now that doesn’t cover Forest and Luton but it just takes some common sense extend that at times considering table positions

They do and they probably considered it but also Everton were down there as well so they probably thought it wouldn't matter. Plus they have finite referees.

They have to declare allegiances but its funny how many seem to follow non league or lower league teams.

And I can't recall one who has declared that they support one of the bigger teams that half the country support. Must be a coincidence.

As for location, not sure exactly how it works. A few Greater Manchester refs are able to ref City or United. I know Anthony Taylor (who lives in and supports Altrincham) is a Cheshire League ref so no conflict there (despite Old Trafford being a few stops on the tram away, and City not too much further).

Yeah good point

Would make it very hard to plan and having enough quality refs to do key games. As Jod infers ..what if your top refs all followed top 2-3 teams

None of the refs would come out and say they support Liverpool or United or Arsenal etc for fear of not being able to officiate the big games.

I do think it's more that than wanting to influence games. But pretty sure some have lied about their allegiances.

Was pretty obvious Howard Webb was a United fan though.
I thought when they end up at the top level they have to divulge which teams they support.

No Palmer. Gusto and Chilwell also now added to our extensive injury list.

Why are you so useless?

We wouldn't have George Michael... I mean... W.HAM in the league if it wasn't for that season you gifted them 6 points.
Now you can't even put up a fight with Woolwich. Get Jose in for a 1 game consultancy role ffs.

With that key exclusion it's very unlikely that Chelsea will be able to win this one

full credit to Arteta for finally putting Jesus on the bench

Two games in a row where terrible tackles that should possibly have be reds haven't even been given yellows.

Be nice if the rules were ever followed.

Jackson on Tomiyasu looked like a red. Apparently VAR had a look at it and thought it should have been a yellow - so didn't refer the ref to the monitor.

Same as this one against Wolves.

But who gives a * about rules anymore.
