I think he will be involved but not sure he would jump straight into an Assistant Role.

Even for players who started transitioning to coaching in their last years as a player do at least one year as a full time development coach.

Having said that it's getting late to bring someone from outside the state in so it's probably going to be him or an internal appointment.
