Thanks. So he's either got him careless with high impact or intentional with medium impact.

I'd be challenging both gradings as impact could easily be low and I think it should be careless since he has little options once Harry gets the ball. The tribunal might take his two broken jaws into consideration.

It makes no difference to me whether Ballas gets off or not, but unless the MRP interviewed him how would they know if his actions were intentional or not? Are they really saying "his actions did not look intentional"?

They have to make the judgement call, otherwise all players would say "I didn't mean to do it".

I'm pretty content with Ballantyne's shoulder slip up to the head ruled "careless" and Smedt's attempt to crush Spurr's Larynx as "intentional".

I would have no problems with him getting a one week suspension since he did hit the head. What I do have a problem with is the inconsistency of the MRP, how can someone get three weeks for something others have got nothing for?

I have no qualms with Ballantyne getting 2 weeks but for Smedts to only get one when he intentionally clotheslined Spurr... come on at worst it deserved the same as Ballas.
