Team in Hiroshima

Looking good, but the poor bugger on the left looks like he's gonna be doing it hard.

Can we pass a hat around to at least get the guy some socks and boots? :p

Played 4 years of rugby at a US college. Played with no boots today. Must have some pretty thick skin on the bottoms of his feet. :)

Thought you guys might be interested to see how our first proper hit out went. We had a tournament in Osaka against the Nagoya Redbacks and Osaka Dingoes. We lost both our games, but had half our team playing their first games of Australian Football ever (3 Americans, a Kiwi and a Papua New Guinean), so the fact that we were more than competitive was a great sign for the future. Our next game is against Tokyo in Hiroshima next month.

Just so you know, we had numbers 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 20, 21, 26 and 44 playing. The guy wearing the number 20 was best on ground for us and kicked a bunch of goals out of the midfield. :)

Good work. You might like to retire the #5 jumper for a while, though. Trav has left the building. :(

Good luck with next month's game! :)

Included it because of Ablett Sr - not Varcoe... ;) I thought it'd be funny to give it to our PNG boy yesterday though. :D
