Well you'd be right. The league is AFL, the sport is Aussie Rules. Only 1 AFL exists but there are many Aussie Rules leagues.

I like them because I like to know what the semester is going to be like, what type of assignments we'll be doing etc. The whole 'stand up and tell your classmates what you did over the break' is a bit of a dredge though.

In 5 years of uni I never had that introduce yourself rubbish, and the first week was never just introduction stuff. Maybe in the first lecture they'd go over the assignments and whatnot, but it was always straight into the subject after that.
