Phantom Draft

1-St.Kilda-Darcy Parish (VicC –Mid)
Weight: 72 kg
Height: 180 cm
D.O.B: 25/7/97
Style: Rory Sloane
The marquee midfielder who can tear games apart with his speed, skill and hurt factor. Has quite a few problem if fixed could turn him into the James Aish of 2013 or not so dominant Lachie Whitfield in 2012. Has been renowned for his ability to hit targets at full speed and if he can step up his goal kicking in 2015 he could make mouths drop to the floor. Probably a top 5 at the moment but if he can improve he could be top 2. Gathered 34 disposals in the first game of the season.

2-Melbourne-Jacob Weitering (VicC –KPD)
Weight: 90 kg
Height: 195 cm
D.O.B: 23/11/97
Style: Alex Rance
The best key defender in the draft and with good reason for it. One of the key factors that put Dandenong amongst the best defensive TAC teams. The Stingrays coach has told AFL media that if he didn’t have the injury he would of played stints in the midfield due to his awkward size for a key defender. Member of the AFL Academy is known for his versitillity and the confidence that causes him to beat his opponents most of the time.

3- Carlton-Josh Schache (VicC –KPF)
Weight: 96 kg
Height: 199 cm
D.O.B: 21/8/97
Style: Tom Lynch (Gold Coast)
The best bash and crash Key Forward in the draft that has the big body to match his style of play. Scahche has kicked 27 goals in 17 games and is expected to produce the same numbers in the TAC and Champs. The Murray junior is in the mold of the modern power forwards of tomorrow and is expected to produce numbers like them. Schache is likely to be the key target in the forward line of the Murray Bushrangers and the Vic Country squad. The best pure Full Forward in the draft and could end up being an All Australian in u18 level and in the AFL.

4- Brisbane-Ben Keays (Qld –Mid/Fwd)
Weight: 78 kg
Height: 183 cm
D.O.B: 22/3/97
Style: Stevie Johnson
Big call right, but it is true that Ben Keays is a carbon copy of Stevie J. He has exceptional footskills and could become one of the better players of this draft. He is best used on a wing that can push forward and kick goals. In a half forward role he averaged 23 disposals and 81% efficiency and kicked 6 goals in 3 games. One of the more attractive features of Ben is his overhead marking at 5 a game is elite. Has started the season in fashion with 17 disposals and a goal in the Brisbane reserves.

5-GWS- Jacob Hopper (NSW –Mid)
Weight: 82 kg
Height: 186 cm
D.O.B: 6/2/97
Style: Dustin Martin
The next best contested midfielder in Division 2. The best preformed underaged midfielder in NSW’s besides Callum Mills. Averaged 21 disposals in the TAC and has started the 2015 season with 27 disposals and 4 goals. He showed how good he is compared to some of the well preformed players in the TAC. The Ballarat Rebel showed that he can match it with the big boys by playing 6 games and didn’t once looked out of place. Mature bodied footballer that is going to be let off the leash a lot more with Callum Mills in the NSW/ACT squad. The most underated prospect in 2015 and could warrant a second round pick this year.

6-Western Bulldogs-Harley Balic (VicM -Mid/Fwd)
Weight: 80 kg
Height: 186 cm
D.O.B: 5/1/97
Style: Robbie Gray
This guy just oozes class and has done some amazing things for Sandringham in the TAC. Has some amazing hands for his size and has the tendency to become a microwave and fire up quickly. More time in the midfield could replicate Robbie Grays year in the AFL and could warrant a first round selection. Without Brayshaw, Vickers-Willis and Maynard could mean he gets more close attention when playing for Sandringham. If he can get more possessions there is no reason I couldn’t see him going top 10. He has started out 2015 with a bang averaging 22 disposals at 70 DE%.

7-Collingwood-Ryan Burton (SA –KPF)
Weight: 90 kg
Height: 192 cm
D.O.B: 31/1/97
Style: Jack Darling
What can I say about him? He has the best hands I have seen in a key forward for a while now and does he know how to use them. Ryan averaged 3 goals a game in the championships and 2.5 goals in SANFL u18s, Reserves and Seniors. He is in the Jack Darling mold and could play like him if his footskills and tank improve. He is the best key forward in the draft and has all the tools to become an All Australian in the future. Will have a delayed start to the season with a horrific broken leg injury last year.

8- West Coast- Callum Ah Chee (WA –Mid/Fwd)
Weight: 69 kg
Height: 180 cm
Style: Dayne Zorko
One of the more unknown prospects in the draft but not to be underestimated. He has explosive speed, skill and composure that in a draft of high level Midfielders still is a highly rated prospect. Didn’t play championships but in the WAFL colts averaged 19.5 disposals as a flanker who kicks goals, and lots of them in 2015. Plays somewhat like Dayne Zorko with his ability to find the goals in whatever position he plays. One of the top WA prospects and could star for them at the championships. Could become at best somewhat like Stephen Hill but Allen Christensen is a more appropriate comparison at the moment.

9-Essendon-Darcy Tucker (VicC –Mid/Def)
Weight: 78 kg
Height: 184 cm
D.O.B: 23/1/97
Style: Nick Dal Santo
The last of the three amigos in Vic Country. Has great penetration with his preferred left foot that could rival most AFL players currently. Has an elite efficiency by foot and hand at 81% in the Champs and 79% in the TAC. Has a very light frame that doesn’t match his game style of hard, contested footy which could only be improved by putting him in a gym and letting him work. If he can pay as well as this or even better he will be drafted top 5. Has great leadership qualities and could captain Vic Country.

10- Gold Coast- Rhys Mathesion (VicC –Mid/Def)
Weight: 80 kg
Height: 185 cm
D.O.B: 10/1/97
Style: Dyson Heppell
Rhys Mathesion is one of the big 3 players commanding the Midfield Brigade in the Vic Country lineup that include Darcy Parish and Darcy Tucker. Probably the favorite for the Larke Medal at the moment and would become u18 All Australian if he can back up his 2014 form. He has averaged 21 disposals in the u18 Champs and these aren’t useless disposals these are disposal that have value to the team. Could captain Geelong in the TAC but could also captain the Vic Country team if he can step-up once again.

11-Richmond- Nick O’Kearney (VicM –Mid)
Weight: 71 kg
Height: 181 cm
D.O.B: 13/2/97
Style: Jobe Watson
Vic Metro have something to look forward to in this kid as he is the reigning Calder BnF winner as a bottom ager in a Cannons lineup that included Touk Miller, Peter Wright and Paul Ahern. Averaged 15 disposals at 76% and 25 at 61% respectably. Has shown he is a volume accumulator that just needs to get his foot skills right if he is to cement himself as a top Midfielder. Would be heavly tagged at the championships due to the lack of high end talent in the Vic Metro lineup. Has Averaged 26.5 disposals in the TAC cup in 2015.

12- North Melbourne-Sam Weideman (VicM –KPF)
Weight: 91 kg
Height: 196 cm
D.O.B: 26/6/97
Style: Jack Riewoldt
This guy has some footy in his blood with Murray Weideman being his grandfather and his father Mark playing a handful of games for Collingwood. Weideman is a key forward with hands like no other in this draft. If there was a pack situation and Weideman is involved than you could already count the mark because he won’t drop it. Can play Center Half Forward and setup the play with his leading patterns being amongst the elite. Then he can play full forward and outmuscle his opponent and take the grab without any fuss. The most versatile pure key forward of the draft that can dominate most opponents.

13-Geelong-Keiran Agius (SA –Fwd)
Weight: 84 kg
Height: 187 cm
D.O.B: 1/10/97
Style: Luke Breust
The enigma of the draft has some amazing stats that would make all 18 clubs want him. Kicked 112 goals in 29 games, averaging just under 4 a game. Even though he has done there is only limited information about him at this point. Didn’t play Championships, but what he did is show that he can play Small Forward, Half Forward and in the Midfield. Indigenous boy from what pictures I have seen is very skinny but still can produce numbers better than most key forwards in the draft. The closest thing I could find to the style of game he plays is Luke Breust.

14- Adelaide- Kerien Collins (VicC –KPD)
Weight: 93 kg
Height: 194 cm
D.O.B: 14/12/97
Style: Eric McKenzie
The second best Key Defender at the draft has quite a few fans of his shutdown, no nonsense style of play. The highly regarded Stingray has the potential to become one of the better key defenders at the draft. Held down the Full Back position as a 16 year old and didn’t look out of place. His no nonsense attitude at the TAC and Champs has warrant him to become an AFL academy member. Makes good decisions by foot and by hand and stops his man at all costs just like Eric McKenzie.

15- Port Adelaide- Tom Cole (VicC –Def/Mid)
Weight: 76 kg
Height: 185 cm
D.O.B: 28/8/97
Style: Brad Crouch
My best bet for the Vic Country MVP would be this guy. One-on-one there is no one better. He is courageous like Hodge and his teammates commend him for it. Averaged about 20 disposals I the TAC cup and will play more time in the Midfield for the Pioneers. Played in a small defender role in the Vic Country lineup and that probably won’t change because of the talent in the Vic Country lineup. Lowered colour on some of the more widely known Small Forwards and Flankers. Has leadership qualities that could see him captaining the Pioneers and maybe even Vic Country.

16-Sydney Swans-Callum Mills (NSW –Mid)
Weight: 80 kg
Height: 188 cm
D.O.B: 2/4/97
Style: Travis Boak
If you think Eddie was pissed about the academies this year then he will be livid about Callum Mills this year. The best player this year and would go 1-2 in an open draft. Averaged 22 disposals and 32 in the TAC cup. The best playing style that I could compare to is Travis Boak because of how spread out his stat line is. He reminds me also of glimpses of Marc Murphy in his draft year. Will probably captain the NSW squad and could take them to back to back Div 2 titles for the second time in 15 years.

17-Fremantle-Jade Gresham (VicM -Mid)
Weight: 74 kg
Height: 177 cm
D.O.B: 24/8/97
Style: Sam Mitchell
The knights accumulator shares some traits with the hawks super star and can only grow better. The well preformed junior is going to pressure the Vic Metro selections in the midfield. Averages 32 disposals a game and tackles like a mad man. One of these sad cases where he will be put lower down the order due to his size. The onballer should play lots in the midfield and could go forward and slot a few aswell. Also has some great leadership traits that earned him the Northern Knights captaincy.

18-Hawthorn-Hisham Kerbatieh (VicM –Fwd)
Weight: 77 kg
Height: 177 cm
D.O.B: 16/5/97
Style: Cyril Rioli
This Cannon can do the spectacular and is not afraid to do it. 58% of the time he was involved in the play the Cannons score and 48% percent when he wasn’t involved they scored. Takes marks, Takes a few bounces and kicks amazing goals just like Cyril. Hisham has an amazing vertical and he knows how to use it, getting on players shoulders and taking the mark with ease. Played in the midfield late in the season showing off his silky skills and his footy smarts. Has tested elite in 20 meter sprint running under 2.9 seconds. His tank isn't great (8+ 2km time trial and 13.5 beep test) and if he worked on that he could be a top prospect.

19-Gold Coast-Ryan Clarke (VicM –Mid)
Weight: 84 kg
Height: 186 cm
D.O.B: 17/6/97
Style: Oliver Wines
Tough, uncompromising and dominating. These are all words describing Ryan Clarke of the Eastern Ranges. Used his mature body to out muscle opponents and get the contested possessions. He has averaged 28.5 disposals and two goals showing how dominant he is in this years TAC cup and could put himself in position for a top 20 pick.

20-St.Kilda-Greg Clark (WA -Mid/Def)
Weight: 81 kg
Height: 193 cm
D.O.B: 24/5/97
Style: Marcus Bontempelli
When I first heard of this kid I thought "Another Bontempelli!" and I was right. He is a tall athletic prospect from Subiaco who is renowned for his contested ball ability. His championship numbers weren't great for a midfielder but in his defense he usually played on a half-back flank. Watch out for him at the championships as his number should improve due to his improved midfield time. Averaged 18 disposals in the WAFL reserves in 2015.

21-Melbourne-Blake Hardwick (VicM –Mid/Fwd)
Weight: 78 kg
Height: 181 cm
D.O.B: 5/2/97
Style: Jake Stringer
Strong forward who presents well and could well be the Petracca story this year. Played as a half-forward for most of the year and has done well at that position. Kicked 24 goals and averaged 15 disposals in 16 games. If he could add weight to his frame I could a player comparable to a Paul Chapman in his heyday. Has kicked big bags of goals on several occasions and could be an excitement machine for Vic Metro. Is equally leading the TAC cup goal kicking with 11 goals in 2015.

22-Carlton-Matthew Nunn (SA –Mid)
Weight: 75 kg
Height: 180 cm
D.O.B: 15/4/97
Style: Joel Selwood
Tough, dominating midfield has the tools to become on of the best contested players in the game. Played mostly reserves last year in the sanfl showing that he has the body to compete with the big bodies at the next level. Captained the u16 SA team in 2013 and is ready to take his game to another level with his ability to navigate through congestion.

23-Brisbane- Eric Hipwood (Qld -KPP)
Weight: N/A
Height: 197 cm
D.O.B: N/A
Style: Justin Westhoff
Key Position Player from Queensland is a bit of a mystery due the fact that he has dominated at u16 level and NEAFL level. The athletic tall has averaged 3.3 goals in the u16's and locked down opponents in the NEAFL with great affect. Will be interesting to see play as i see him as that roaming KPP that can make a significant difference at both ends of the ground. Has played well as a tall in the Academy trial games against senior opposition and is holding his own in the NEAFL

24-GWS-Sam Skinner (VicC –KPP)
Weight: 96 kg
Height: 197 cm
D.O.B: 29/6/97
Style: Jake Carlisle
The key position utility that could see him playing forward for the Vic Country team and down back for Gippsland. The athletic key position player that creates mismatches were ever he is on the ground. Played on Darcy Moore in one game in the Champs and lowered his colours so his team could attack more freely up the ground. Kicks goals up forward then stops them down back. Sam has some of the traits of the modern swingmen that are athletic and equally adept at both ends. The Vic Country u16 MVP has some of the same traits of Jake Carlisle in that he is versatile and causes matchup problems at both ends of the ground.

25- Western Bulldogs-Ben Crocker (VicM –Mid/Fwd)
Weight: 81 kg
Height: 185 cm
D.O.B: 19/2/97
Style: Luke Parker
The x-factor player shows us that if you can do amazing things you will be noticed. Isn’t the most consistent player around but what he does do is kick amazing goals, drill kicks that shouldn’t get through and takes marks at ridiculous heights. Ben is the type of play that will inspire his teammates and change the momentum with stunning plays. If he can get the footy more, then he could be in the top bracket of players. Is looking a class above everyone at TAC level and has got shared captaincy with Dan Houston

26-Collingwood- Luke Partington (SA –Mid)
Weight: 77 kg
Height: 182 cm
D.O.B: 5/3/97
Style: Luke Shuey
The SA midfielder that should step up to the occasion this year in the Champs. The Norwood junior is an endurance and speed machine that now has added a contested side to his game. His championships were very down due to the fact that he had to adjust to the speed of championship football. This explosive midfielder also has been known to kick goals for his then club Port Adelaide. Has traits like Patrick Dangerfield with his ability to hit the scoreboard and explosiveness from stoppages. He has an amazing ability to create space forward and kick goals somewhat like Dangerfield. If he can rise to the occasion and produce numbers as he did for Port he could be a late first round pick.

27-West Coast-Jake Sushames (Tas -Fwd)
Weight: 70 kg
Height: 180 cm
D.O.B: 23/9/97
Style: Jamie Elliott/Bailey Dale
Skinny flanker from North Launceston is a goalkicker who could be the shining light for the lesser Div 2 sides (Tasmania and Northern Territory). Starred for the AFL academy against the NZ hawks and for his TSL team by getting both goal of the year and mark of the year in the TSL. Will be looking forward to playing Championship football this year and creating some excitement for the tasmania squad.

28-Essendon- Maris Olekains (SA –Mid)
Weight: 70 kg
Height: 180 cm
D.O.B: 29/8/97
Style: Ryan Griffen
Big time accumulator who has the ability to dispose of the ball well. Skillful player who hasn’t had a good run of games since 2013 and if that record changes the SA squad will look supremely strong with his inclusion. He will be hoping for more game time in the reserves and maybe even the seniors this year as he tries to cement himself as one of the top mids at the draft.

29-Gold Coast-Jordan Snadden (WA -Mid)
Weight: 75 kg
Height: 187 cm
Style: Brett Deledio
Smooth moving left footer from East Freo could be the surprise packed to come out of WA this year. The clearance specialist and who is know to go forward and kick a few like Deledio. if he could add weight to his frame then i could see him going in the first round. Averaged 21 disposals, 4 marks and 5 clearance showing his versitility at colts level.

30-Richmond- Lachlan Tardrew (VicC –Def/Mid)
Weight: 70 kg
Height: 182 cm
D.O.B: 6/9/97
Style: Luke Hodge
Half back flanker from the Pioneers who produces numbers like a midfielder from a half back flank. He averages 28.3 disposals a game and 14 handball receives that shows he will have the goods when he makes the transition from the TAC cup to the AFL. He also plays big midfield minutes when his team needs him too and he dominates.

31-North Melbourne- Zak Wunhym (VicM –Mid/Fwd)
Weight: 75 kg
Height: 171 cm
D.O.B: 22/8/97
Style: Lewis Taylor
The Cannons pocket rocket is one of the impressive players not just because of his size. He has elite traits in pretty much all columns of the stat sheet, especially in the marks category. If he doesn’t get drafted because of his size he will be a key player in any VFL team he could play for. He averaged 24 disposals at 65% which is very good by position. Great Tackler, Goal Kicker and Accumulator and he could go as high as pick 20.

32-Geelong- Charles Curnow (VicC –Utl)
Weight: 95 kg
Height: 191 cm
D.O.B: 3/2/97
Style: Stewart Crameri
The mystery man of the draft who like the other drafted utilities in the last two years has some athletic traits that make peoples mouth water. Charlie hasn’t played u16 champs nor u18 champs, but what he did do is have some amazing games for the Geelong Faclcons. Very raw in football terms and could become anything. Brother of Ed from Carlton, but he couldn’t be any different as a player. Boasts great hands and boy does he know how to use them. Plays somewhat like Sam Kerridge as that utility that can pinch hit in the Ruck and kick goals Forward.

33-Adelaide-Aaron Francis (SA –Utl)
Weight: 88 kg
Height: 190 cm
D.O.B: 10/8/97
Style: Brendon Goddard
Aaron Francis is the utility of the draft. Played as a Medium Defender at the champs and will probably play forward, on a wing and in the midfield as well. Has a mature body and he played mainly as a Center Half Back until the champs when he became a pure medium defender. Will have to fire if SA want to win 3 championships in a row. Provides great rebound from defense, then sets up up the play in the midfield before going forward and kicking a few goals. This kid will be one of SA top picks and could go in the top ten if he steps up his games. Named best on ground in the AFL Academy vs Weribee game.

34-Port Adelaide-Karl Brown (VicM –KPF)
Weight: 90 kg
Height: 192 cm
D.O.B: 1/12/97
Style: Taylor Walker
High production KPF who is in the lead for the second tall position. Kicked 8 goals against northern and he kicked them for set shots and crumbed the ball very well for his size. He also took some critical marks for the cannons up forward. Vic Metro will be looking forward to this guy playing more as a second/third tall leaving him to roam and play his game to perfection. He is currently leading the TAC cup goalkicking with Blake Hardwick.

35-Sydney Swans-Josh Dunkley (VicC –Mid)
Weight: 82 kg
Height: 189 cm
D.O.B: 9/1/97
Style: Scott Pendlebury
The Swans are set again for another steal with Dunkley and Mills both going to the Swan Lake in Harbor Town. Dunkley is and inside midfielder that does it all and can’t be shut out for too long because they will send him forward and let him slot a few and then go back and create drive from the backline. If he could get his efficiency to about 70-75 then he could easily become u18 All Australian and make Eddie McGuire complain in length to the AFL. He could become the replacement for Jarryd McVeigh in the future.

36-Fremantle- Harry McKay (VicC –KPF/Ruck)
Weight: 85 kg
Height: 200 cm
D.O.B: 24/12/97
Style: Patrick Ryder
Tall forward/ruck who has potential to become a marquee tall forward if he gets his shot at the champs. This boys is supremely athletic and has the scope to become one of the first 200cm+ player to be a pure key forward. Averages 2 goals a game and has done some good work in the ruck but its hard with two player ahead of him in that department. Should play as one of the tall forwards at the champs but might be behind players like Schache.

37-Hawthorn- James Parsons (VicM -Mid/Def)
Weight: 79 kg
Height: 189 cm
D.O.B: 12/4/97
Style: Jared Polec
Athletic wingman whos potential has clubs on there knees. He is one of the new breed of wingman who can not just linkup the play but impact the scoreboard. Averaged 13 disposals, 5 marks and 3 inside 50's. Has alot of upside and could compete for wing dominance against Aidyn Johnson. Should add some weight that would make him an attractive prospect. Very dominating TAC cup to date and should play good footy for Vic Metro.

38-St.Kilda-Jack Watson (WA –KPD)
Weight: 81 kg
Height: 191 cm
D.O.B: 23/7/97
Style: Josh Gibson
The main key defender for WA has a lot of upside and could warrant a second round selection if he preforms in the champs. Average 20 disposals and 2 marks in 2015 which means that puts him in the elite amongst key defenders. Should play some reserves with Swans Districts later in the year and should keep him in good stead for the draft.

39-Melbourne-Jordan Hayden (Tas -Mid)
Weight: 80 kg
Height: 188 cm
D.O.B: 26/5/97
Style: Dylan Shiel
The inside/outside midfield has shown he can compete with the best and do well against them. The Glenorchy product has shown he has a great mixture of inside ball winning and outside class which puts him in high regard with recruiters. he is up there with McDonald and Hopper competing for the best Div 2 player besides Keays and Mills. Also has been known to kick some goals averaging 1 a game in the TAC.

40-Carlton- Stephen Tahana (SA –Def/Mid)
Weight: 79 kg
Height: 183 cm
Style: Kade Simpson
New Zealand born medium defender is one of the few top prospects from SA. Played mainly on half back sometimes moving onto a wing. He averaged 9 disposals if he improved could put him in the top bracket of medium defenders. The most appealing attribute is his disposal efficiency which is at 75%. If he can accumulate more, then I could see him going in the first round.

41-Brisbane- Nate Dennis (Qld –Ruck/KPD)
Weight: 88 kg
Height: 201 cm
D.O.B: 19/8/97
Style: Matthew Kreuzer
Brisbane will be happy to take with the 41th pick. Can play as a key defender and as a ruckman who can play effectively as a extra midfielder. Plays quiet small with his ground work rating up there with the elite and he also plays tall taking tons of mark all around the ground.

42-GWS- Kade Stewart (WA –Mid)
Weight: 70 kg
Height: 180 cm
D.O.B: 16/1/97
Style: Tom Rockcliff
The contested beast of the draft has shown that he won’t shy away from contact, but he appreciates it. Played senior football at 15 years of age and didn’t look out of place. Struggled during the champs because of the lack of talent around him and because he was adapting to the speed up of championship football. If you can’t see him on the field when the siren goes it is because he is already under the pack dishing it off to one of the outside runners. Has elite understanding of the contested situation and accumulates like a seasoned veteran just like Tom Rockliff is now. The u16 WA MVP has great disposal efficiency for an inside ball magnet at 74% and also has developed goal kicking ability

43-Western Bulldogs-Luke Shepard (WA –Def)
Weight: 82 kg
Height:188 cm
D.O.B: 31/8/97
Style: Matthew Broadbent
The man WA are going to have to rely on to rebound and stop the oppositions best medium forwards. Averaged 13.5 disposals and 4 marks which highlights his ability to do the work on the ground and in the air. At his size the Peel Thunder might chose to throw him on the ball and give him a shot there.

44-Collingwood-Liam Jeffs (VicM -Utl)
Weight: 78 kg
Height: 192 cm
D.O.B: 30/3/97
Style: Trent McKenzie
The athletic utility from the Eastern Ranges has stepped up at every level he has played at and now he is ready to take the next step. The freakish athlete has averaged 16.3 disposals a game and just under 4 handball receives a game in his position as a medium defender which highlights his run and carry prowess. Liam has also show that he can play forward and make an impact there and then go on a wing and create drive from the wing.

45-West Coast- Matthew Stillman (VicM –Def)
Weight: 78 kg
Height: 181 cm
D.O.B: 4/8/97
Style: Nick Malceski
Half back flanker from the Calder Cannons has the chance to do something special this year. Rebounds well and will probably take the reins for Vic Metro at half back. Averaged 16 disposals and 7 handball receives which warrants that Nick Malceski comparison. Played 19 games last year showing that he was needed at the cannons as a bottom ager. Averaged 19 disposals and 8.6 handball receives in 2015.

46-Essendon-Tom Wallis (VicM -Mid -Ess F/S)
Weight: 74 kg
Height: 182 cm
D.O.B: 14/2/97
Style: Tom Scully
Classy wingman for the Calder cannons should get Essendon Fans excited due to the fact that he now has a clear run in the Calder lineup. Averaged 19 disposals a game at 74 DE%. Will probably play as a flanker at the champs and could play a major role in the forward line. Should play a role in the Vic Metro lineup and has cemented himself in the strong calder midfield.

47-Gold Coast- Aidyn Johnson (VicC -Mid)
Weight: 75 kg
Height: 184 cm
D.O.B: 21/10/97
Style: Stephen Hill
Skinny wingman who has cracked games open with his run and linkup ability. The young Pioneer averages 4 handball receives a game which is amongst the elite. His teammate Tom Cole could form the best dynamic duo in the midfield since Josh Kelly and Nathan Freeman. Also a prolific marker for his size averaging 3.7 a game. Should play a major role in the Vic Country team and might be able to become u18 All Australian.

48-Richmond-Levi Ridley (WA –Mid/Fwd)
Weight: 74 kg
Height: 184 cm
D.O.B: 17/2/97
Style: David Zaharakis
This boy has the potential to win games off his own boot with his disposal efficiency and goal kicking ability. Swans District product who averages 20 disposals in the reserves this season and has kicked goals in multiple occasions last season. He also averages 3.6 tackles which tells me he can defend his man as well as he can attack. Has started to play in the seniors for swans districts which will put him in good stead for the draft.

49-North Melbourne- Tate Marsh (VicC -Mid/Fwd)
Weight: 69 kg
Height: 176 cm
D.O.B: 17/2/97
Style: Dale Thomas
10 years ago they had a blonde haired player who cut games up with his skill and poise. His name was Dale Thomas and 10 years on they think they have a carbon copy of that blonde hair mid with Tate Marsh. Averaged 14 disposals and was one of their shining lights in this year’s disappointing season. Played his best football on the wing averaging 5.8 putting him among the elite by position. I see him also having traits like Bradley Hill with how he could be used for Vic Country. Aidyn Johnson and Tate could put on the best show of wingman prowess that would have those playing roles similar to an Isaac Smith and Brad Hill.

50-Geelong- Mitch Antonio (WA –Fwd)
Weight: 66 kg
Height: 186 cm
D.O.B: 18/4/97
Style: Will Hoskin-Elliott (Less Endurance, Better Scoreboard Impact)
West Perth has produced there follow up to Blake acres in this kid. Has an average goalkicking tally of 4 per game. The main down side is his frame being as skinny as a 15 year old kid (I am the exact same weight and im 15). He should play as a 3rd tall for WA and could as high as the second round.

51-Adelaide-Tim Sullivan (SA –Ruck)
Weight: 85 kg
Height: 199 cm
Style: Will Minson
The best ruckman of the draft who can accumulate well and provide good tap work for his midfielders. Was already 195 cm as a 16 year old and has started to add weight to his frame which could see him being as heavy as 95 kg by draft time. As a tap ruck man he is dominating and creating opportunities for his players. Could be the ruckman that become u18 All Australian and gets drafted in the first two round like Brodie Grundy and Toby Nankervis. If he could start to become more efficient forward or maybe even get more disposals then he could secure his spot as a top bracket ruckman.

52-Port Adelaide-Brandon Dew (SA –Fwd/Mid)
Weight: 66 kg
Height: 178 cm
D.O.B: 8/5/97
Style: Paul Chapman
Goal kicking small midfielder from central districts could be a player to look out for at the champs due to his ability to change games in an instant. Played the whole year in the maccas cup and averaged nearly two goals a game. Should play most of the year in the reserves and could get a game or two in the seniors.

53-Sydney Swans-Brayden Fiorni (VicM –Mid/Def)
Weight: 75 kg
Height: 186 cm
D.O.B: 22/8/97
Style: Andrew Gaff
One of the more under rated prospects in the draft this year has given lots for the recruiter to look at this year. Plays on a wing and as a medium rebounding defender and has averaged 9.5 handball receives a game this year. Should be able to cement himself in the Vic Metro backline.

54-Fremantle- Chad Daniels (WA –Mid/Fwd)
Weight: 83 kg
Height: 182 cm
D.O.B: 13/4/97
Style: Harley Bennell
One of the better players to come out of the Swans Districts this year. He has talent to burn and has shown his stuff this year with his ability to kick goals and collect tons of disposals with his big body. He has a game changing ability which will be useful for the WA squad when they are playing against the stronger teams in Div 1. Averages 22 disposals and amost 2 goals a game which tells me he can become a force in the AFL.

55-Hawthorn-Matthew Allen (SA –KPF)
Weight: 90 kg
Height: 194 cm
D.O.B: 18/10/97
Style: Jay Schulz
The Glenelg product who has come out of nowhere to become a top prospect. Played only two games this year and averaged two goals but with a stronger body and year in the u18s he should cement himself as a top prospect. He is going to be the main target up forward and should deliver when given the opportunity like he usually does.

56-St.Kilda-Bailey Rice (VicC –Mid –Carl/St.k F/S)
Weight: 81 kg
Height: 184 cm
D.O.B: 10/2/97
Style: Dom Tyson
Bailey has a big decision to make when the bidding process begins for him. He has averaged 16 disposals in 2015 but is you take away his first performance of 4 disposals then he averages 22 disposals. His father played footy for both Carlton and St.Kilda and there’s good interest from both parties.

57-Melbourne-Jake Lovett (VicC –Mid –Melb F/S)
Weight: 81 kg
Height: 182 cm
D.O.B: 9/1/97
Style: Marc Murphy
Skillful midfielder who has shown he has the good to make it in the big league. Averages 18 disposals in the TAC cup and will probably play on a flank for Vic Country. Plays an inside/outside player role which shows he is versatile and has some pace about him. This boys should get Melbourne fans excited for what is to come from this kid.

58-Carlton-Jack Silvangi (VicM –KPF –Carl F/S)
Weight: 81 kg
Height: 190 cm
D.O.B: 17/12/97
Style: Jack Gunston
Tall forward who is son of the great Stephen Silvangi. This boy has footskills which puts him apart from other key forwards in his class. Probably play that 3rd tall or medium forward who marks well. Will play some decent time up forward in the u18 Champs but will have to fight for his spot.

59-Brisbane-Will Combe (SA –Mid/Fwd)
Weight: 75 kg
Height: 180 cm
D.O.B: 15/7/97
Style: Lachie Neale
The North Adelaide midfielder who has potential to become a good prospect by the time draft day comes around. Contested player who can kick some goals averaging 1 per game which tells me he could move forward and make an impact there. Will probably start as a forward switching with Luke Partington. Will be looking forward to more tome in the Reserves and League level.

60-GWS-Dylan McDonald (NSW –Mid)
Weight: 69 kg
Height: 183 cm
D.O.B: 17/1/97
Style: Issac Smith
Speedy midfielder who has the ability to go forward and kick some goals as well. Should play a pivotal role in the NSW lineup and for his Murray Bushrangers. Averages 11 disposals which shows he isn’t a volume accumulator but he uses the ball so well he doesn’t need much to make a difference. Should inject some pace for the NSW squad.

61-Western Bulldogs-Darcy Macpherson (VicM –Fwd –WB F/S)
Weight: 72 kg
Height: 174 cm
D.O.B: 29/10/97
Style: Hayden Ballantyne
Son of a Bulldaog is put himself in the best position for this year. Has been known to be a pressure specialist averaging 5+ tackles. Will have to wait to see him play because of his shoulder injury. Should play some games with Vic Metro.

62-Collingwood-Nash Holmes (VicC –Mid)
Weight: 74 kg
Height: 180 cm
D.O.B: 13/3/97
Style: Lenny Hayes
Vic Country have some serious depth this year and this boys is hoping he can challenge it. Averages 25 disposals and 9 tackles which should put him in good stead for the u18 championships. He is a contested beast and should go pretty high if he keeps on improving.

63-West Coast-Jordan Matera (VicM –Mid/Fwd –WC F/S)
Weight: 82 kg
Height: 182 cm
D.O.B: 11/4/97
Style: Matthew Wright
Creative midfielder who shows essences of his father when he plays. Plays mainly as a strong forward who can go in the midfield and use his big body to beat other players. Averages 16 disposals and 1.6 goals showing who damaging he can be without getting much of the ball.

64-Essendon- Bailey Rogers (WA –Mid)
Weight: 77 kg
Height: 183 cm
D.O.B: 22/3/97
Style: Lachie Whitfield
High marking midfielder who has taken the WAFL by storm this year. Playing for the Claremont tigers he has averaged 24 disposals in the WAFL colts and has a chance to play some major midfield minutes at the u18 championships. Averages 6 marks a game showing he can play as a wingman and as an onballer.

65-Gold Coast-Daniel Houston (VicM -Fwd/Mid)
Weight: 83 kg
Height: 187 cm
D.O.B: 12/1/97
Style: Angus Monfries
Strong onballer from the Oakleigh Chargers has a knack for finding the goals and racking up possessions. Averaged two goals a game and stared for them in the TAC cup grand final gathering 12 disposals and kicking 3 goals. Should play more time in the midfield and play a major role in the Vic Metro team. Also averaged an elite 5 marks and 3 inside 50's highlighting his forward prowess.

66-Richmond- Harvey Hooper (VicM –Def)
Weight: 77 kg
Height: 181 cm
D.O.B: 10/6/97
Style: Robert Murphy
Rebounding midfielder/defender who has a chance to go in the second round if all goes his way. Averages 20 disposals and 5 marks a game highlighting his ability to create spread from a contest. If he plays consistently he should get drafted.

67-North Melbourne- Thomas Bennett (WA –Mid)
Weight: 74 kg
Height: 184 cm
D.O.B: 30/4/97
Style: Brad Ebert
This Claremont junior is hoping to prove his critics wrong by having a stellar champs. He is averaging 20 disposals and he also has played reserves footy last year and has produced pretty much the same numbers he produced at the colts level. He will be hoping for this years champs to be highly productive for him. If he can add another element to his game then he could shoot up the rankings.

68-Geelong-Nick Dodge (Tas –Fwd)
Weight: 79 kg
Height: 182 cm
D.O.B: 2/6/97
Style: Mark LeCras
One of few Tasmanians who I expect to shine in May. High production are the two words I would use to describe this guy because he averaged 2 goals in the national championships and has averaged 3 tackles aswell. He is currently third in the league Best and Fairest in the Tasmanian State League and he should be right up there with the best.

69-Adelaide-Harry Thompson (VicM –KPF/Ruck)
Weight: 90 kg
Height: 194 cm
D.O.B: 13/2/97
Style: poor mans Jarryd Roughead
Plays as a KPP player who can play in the Ruck a do some damage there. Averages 15 disposals and 15 hitouts as a Ruckman and also 1 goal as a KPP. He can play very tall (Averaging 5 marks) and small (4 handball receives) with his ability to hit the ground and run.

70-Port Adelaide-Will Snelling (SA -Mid/Fwd)
Weight: 68 kg
Height: 177 cm
D.O.B: 6/8/97
Style: Dan Hannebery
The West Adelaide premiership hero has put himself in the best position to make a splash in 2015. Averaged over 20 disposals a game in the SANFL and has extreme speed which makes him very elusive. Should start in the SA midfield and could blossom into a real steal in this year’s draft. He would have to add weight to his frame and if he got to the 180 cm mark I could see him going in the first round if everything goes right.

71-Sydney-Bryce Batty (VicM -Mid)
Weight: 80 kg
Height: 183 cm
D.O.B: 16/1/97
Style: Adam Treloar
The tackling machine from the Eastern Ranges is looking forward leading the ranges midfield for 2015. This tackling machine has averaged 15 disposals, 7 contested possessions and 3.8 tackles a game. Will play a role for Vic Metro and probably be in the guts with O'Kearney. His number should be around the 20 disposal mark this year and could win the Vic Metro MVP or even the Larke Medal.

72-Fremantle-Jackson Volpato (VicM –Mid)
Weight: 73 kg
Height: 167 cm
D.O.B: 24/2/97
Style: Brent Harvey (More Contested)
It doesn’t matter what anyone says to me, this kid is going to be one of the best players under 170 cm since Tony Libertore. Averages 29 disposals, 12 handball receives, 7 marks and 7 tackles which makes me think he could play high level afl football. If he does get drafted then he won’t waste his opportunity to shine like he usually does at all levels.

73-Hawthorn-Samuel Simmons (VicC -Mid)
Weight: 85 kg
Height: 189 cm
D.O.B: 11/10/97
Style: Josh Kennedy (Sydney)
Bendigo will be happy to see this guy develop alot this year with his ability to hit the scoreboard, tackle and rack up possession being up there with the best. Averages 21 disposals, 1 goal, 5 tackles and 5 marks which shows that he fill the stats sheet all round. He is 189 cm and 85 kg which means he is a genuine big bodied midfielder who will be able to play from round one when he is draft.

26-Brisbane-Blake Hardwick (VicM –Mid/Fwd)
Weight: 77 kg
Height: 180 cm
D.O.B: 5/2/97
Style: Jake Stringer
Strong forward who presents well and could well be the Petracca story this year. Played as a half-forward for most of the year and has done well at that position. Kicked 24 goals and averaged 15 disposals in 16 games. If he could add weight to his frame I could a player comparable to a Paul Chapman in his heyday. Has kicked big bags of goals on several occasions and could be an excitement machine for Vic Metro. Is equally leading the TAC cup goal kicking with 11 goals in 2015.

I hope not entirely like his story if we took him...

Do you think the Lions will have a crack at Tyler Roos this season, after passing last year?

Collingwood need to go for a key tall, we have a lot of young mids on our list and should be looking to add a key forward to our list in this draft

He has preformed well in some of the games but it will probably decided if he plays VFL with Sandringham at a decent level.

Without not having seen too much of Burton i'd be pretty stoked if Collingwood got Burton, sounds like the next Gunston. When is he expected to return from injury?

Should be able to play some championships, but its touch and go

I think Schache would be our Power Forward if we go that way having said that i havent seen Karl Brown Play . Would Love Weitering Class Act To Help Complete our Spine and Leaky defense at times

Right now you still need to build your skill level in the midfield. If not that you need a KPD instead of a KPF. The dogs have no issues kicking goals but you do need help stopping them.

Yes we need help stopping Goals ! A Darcy Tucker and Parish would help our skill level in the Midfield

in your honest opinion what is the chance of Ben Keays slipping to a second round pick because I am really hoping Brisbane picks up Josh Schache. I know its a bit selfish but hay sue me its worth asking the question.

You would have to finish on the bottom. Last year watching the NSW v Qld game I didn't have a clue who he was going in to the game. I was just watching out for Mills and Heeny. But for mine Keays was the one who really stood out.

Not a chance in hell
