For the Richmond fans out there on page 3 and 5 you can see who I selected and why. On page 9 is a future name to keep an eye out for that I selected in our little future draft.
I know not everyone will agree but I do believe that the tigers need a developable KPP, after that I went with who I saw as the best available fit at the tigers.
Interested to know the players you feel have a higher ceiling after selecting Sanchez. Thanks for the write ups 👍

In terms of similar players nobody in my mind, Aiden O’Driscoll is on par, but I meant other players who are totally different, Logan Morris perhaps has a higher ceiling in what he may be able to produce up forward or as an intercept defender and Vigo Visentini in the ruck could have a higher ceiling from that range in the draft but will take a longer time and in a totally different position and neither were a fit for the tigers for that pick

Mini Draft Pick 14 - Phoenix Hargrave
Pick 14 - Phoenix Hargrave

181cm mid out of South Adelaide. Won the MVP award in the U18 competition this year. Really strong in the contest, but a good enough outside game too. That’ll probably be the key next year - outside spread and goals so he has that point of difference over other smaller inside players.

Mini Draft Pick 15 - Murphy Reid
Pick 15 - Murphy Reid

181 cm Mid/FWD out of the SANDRINGHAM FOOTY FACTORY who has displayed high end cleanliness and decision making with the footy, and has an excellent defensive drive. Prone to a couple of execution errors by foot and hand under pressure but always acts swiftly to clean up his mess. I like his contested game at surface level but do admit I've got a bit more watching to do of the 2024 class before making a definitive call on it, so think the potential as a genuine mid/fwd is there at AFL level

Also heavily considered Zak Johnson, Xavier Lindsay and Bo Allan here

LemmingMaster up next

Love a player who doesn't mind getting dirty.

A lot of midfielders there for the Lions with 2 quality mids available next year surely Brisbane look at a ruckman and kPP players I like Lloyd who is still available in this draft and Will Green who you have going at the next pick both would have been good pick-up for the Lions

Mid/wing/small forward who have attributes that our recruiters look for to succeed, or a third tall who has exactly the weaknesses as the hall of fame third tall who couldn’t cement a spot in our best 22 and asked to be traded home.

We're looking at KPP or a Ruckman according to Conole and Daly I have no problem if we draft mids but with Marshall and Ashcroft available and Gillett I think a year away I would have loved at least Green who I rate higher than Hastie still available on the board
