Knowing us we'll do nothing and let him leave only to then commit to guys not fit to lace his boots.

How much benefit would he be for for the young blokes to learn from.

We have seen what has happened up in NSW by gifting games to kids simply because they are part of the “pathway”

If we get Boland back, any chance we play him and Siddle and drop Perry

Or does Boland replace Siddle as has been the case all year with those 2 playing as 1.

Perry has been very poor lately.

Can't see any way of us winning this one unfortunately
Not much chance of preparing a green top in the next few days with this weather.
Then rain forecast for Wednesday and Thursday.
Only 1 win out of our last 10 v WA and that was with their 2nd string bowling attack. Our batting has been flakey all year, it's going to take alot of things to go right.
We are going to be close enough, but not good enough again.

Preparing a green top is very easy…same as preparing a raging turner in India - it’s all in the moisture you add which in 95% of times is via the hose / sprinklers.

If they really want one they’ll get one.

Exactly…start the prep later, back the rolling off, leave the mowers in the shed, pump the water in, cover it and let it sweat.

They know exactly the weather they are getting so planning prep is far easier

Not sure about Victoria winning the toss and sending WA in on such a hot day but they are the ones that have to win the game.
This is why I can't see anyway of us winning unfortunately

We have to take all 20 wickets so i guess we had no choice to bowl given the pitch, but weather conditions aren't ideal to bowl in and given the start they have made, we could actually end up putting ourselves well behind the game after day 1.

As usual we can't just go through a side quickly. Needed 5-6 wickets in that session. Now they will bat us out of the game as the wicket flattens out in this heat.

The problem is we’re just not that good and the team has the same problem as NZ when they face Australia, they go to water when facing WA.

If we miss out on the final it will not because of this game, more like a couple of earlier games where luck was not on our side with the weather etc.
