Buckleys biggest flaw is that he actually went to Collingwood

Thomas' biggest flaw is he actually thinks he is a champion

Collingwoods midfield is slow... Face Facts

Why are you in this thread if you're not going to contribute properly? Get off your high horse.

It shows how weak you are. Anyone can do it: Remeber, our "slow" and crap midfield did 101 points better against Geelong's than yours did.

(End pointless statement, that is only there to antagonise and show the shortage of solid arguments).

In other words, one good year doesn't make you. Back it up. Do you not understand what is being said here?

The category is for players under 21 right now. So, the most form any player could have under their belt would be 3 seasons if they began playing in the firsts as soon as they were drafted. That is not exactly a huge sample size champ. In this context, 1 full year of stellar footy (ie. what Selwood produced) is enough to judge whether they are any good.

Back it up? Please. How much proof of "backing it up" are you going to get in a group of under 21's?

:D

Don't be disappointed. I'm just sick of this place being non-stop trolling on everyone's part. I'm trying to be reasonable, without bias. Thomas IS inconsistant, and he IS a show-pony. If someone chooses not to rate him, that doesn't really worry me, but I definately don't agree with it. I'm very confident he'll be a champion for the club, and for the league, but it won't happen overnight. Players like him take time to develop consistancy, and the right decision making. The best example I can think of is Ablett Jr. For years people said he wasn't living up to his potential (despite still being a very good player), and then BANG! In 2007 he's arguably the best player in the league (for the year).

Anyone that doesn't rate Thomas' based on his flaws despite his attributes, well IMO they are not worthy of a genuine response they should be laughed at in a smug manner. Did Bluez list Thomas' attributes that makes him so highly regarded by not only Collingwood supporters but the football world. No. Just listed a piss weak argument that he is a show pony. If he doesn't or anyone else for that matter doesn't rate Thomas, they are not worthy of a genuine reply. Just laugh at them they are probably jealous.

*yawn*

Whatever. You barrack for Collingwood and you think that your teams shit don't stink, and your own for that matter.

I have a question for you, two infact. The number 2 is the number that comes after number 1.

Anyway,

Why is Collingwood the most hated club in the AFL?

and

Why are Collingwoods supporters the most hated supporters in the AFL? (we generally refer to them as feral)

Sleep on those questions. A response is not needed. We all already know the answers. You don't need to tell us. I haven't got the time for you to get out the dictionary and look up words to type out your response.

Fortunately, people are entitled to their opinion, whether it is right or totally ludicrous. They may be jealous, or they may be genuine in not rating him. Don't overreact to it though, it achieves nothing and only makes them say it more! :D

And this post relates HOW exactly to the question of best young player under 21? This looks suspiciously like a diversion to mask the fact that your arguments in this thread have been p1sspoor.

a second good year, a third maybe. I am not saying anything negative about Selwood at all. At least he is actually going to be a superstar, unlike Pendlebury and D.Thomas

Couldn't have said it better. :thumbsu:

Actually, unlike Collingwood Supporters, we have to go to work. Look it up on wikipedia or something. You might learn something

Possibly. That's the beauty of going to one of the country's top universities... work is only part-time!

why don't you tell him yours?

I am a university student. Still no response from Rooboy. I think he is too scared to post what his job is. Hmmm anyways must be something that is not at all important. Rooboy has been owned. Good night!

bc at this stage he is a better prospect. Leunberger would have been taken at 1 if Carlton had there time again no doubt. Either he or Selwood. Much better prospects than Gibbs. Essendon wouldn't take Gumbleton @ 2 either.
How can you speak for Carlton supporters/recruiters when you barrack for Collingwood. This smells of green to me. Either your sampling the fruits of this years harvest or your jealous we recruited a future gun in Gibbs. Besides with Hammo why would we need Leunberger. You'll be introduced to young Shaun Hampson's talents when we meet you early in the season.:D

love it. "mundane stereotype" is a redundant platitude, followed by calling others stupid.

lovely work :p :D
It's in no way redundant, or a platitude, but don't let the English language get in your way.

Redundancy would imply that the two words have the same meaning, or that one implies the meaning of the other, which isn't the case. A racial stereotype could hardly be seen as mundane, meaning that there are stereotypes that are not mundance, and hence a stereotype that IS mundane could certainly be described as such.

For it to be a platitude, it would have to be trite or meaningless, which it clearly isn't given that you didn't even understand the meaning of the statement. Did you just throw darts at a dictionary, trying to sound smart, and come off more like a failed internet hero?
