If people vote based on AFL - she may of just picked up seats in WA, Adelaide and 100 000 more votes in the rest of Vic

The Seat of Melbourne has Alphington, Clifton Hill, Abbotsford, Fairfield & Collingwood. I've bought a house in Clifton Hill in the last 3 years & basically grown up around the area. It is filled with that demographic. That area/the Suburbs I mentioned is rampant Collingwood.

This seat is pretty close right now.

North Melbourne, Collingwood, Carlton, Melbourne (though most of their fans live east of the Yarra these days anyway) and Richmond are all in that seat. Fitzroy were too if that wasn't enough footy teams.

Surely people can think of better reasons to vote for/against someone then what footy teams they like and hate

When Peter Gordon was Managing Partner at Slaters he insisted that non-aligned staff members join the Bullys - I suppose about twenty years. How do you know she does not know the words of the theme song. It is a bit of a test of a true footy fan. Anyone who goes to the footy with any regularity would know just about every club song
