Last night I watched the amazing doco on Rowland S Howard called Autoluminescent that screened on ABC2 - a truly moving documentary about an extremely talented guitarist/songwriter/singer - for those who missed it, it can be seen on ABC iview for a couple of weeks at http://www.abc.net.au/iview/#/view/883954

Anyone with an interest in guitar and Australian or alternative music must see this.

RIP Rowland, what a brilliant man.

I'm pretty stoked about getting to see Soundgarden again - twice in a week, when I saw them in 1994 they were unbelievably good and remain one of my favourite rock acts ever - Chris Cornell's voice is out of this world.

This is the first Soundgarden song I ever heard - it was played on Rock Arena circa 1989 - it led to madly hitting the Sydney import record stores to track down a copy of the album Louder than Love. I'm chuffed to hear that a few of the tracks from Louder than Love are on the Soundgarden setlist.

Saw that last night too BS, was very well done and not being a Birthday Party, Nick Cave, etc. fan, I had never really taken much interest in his music. Well last night I got an education, very impressed, will be looking Rowland's music up very soon. I also searched the forum and found these threads that you and SLF started when he died.
