I think you're confused. Mir/Cain has been set for quite a while now. JDS/Overeem is the fight in jeopardy because of Overeem's test failure.

The UFC hasn't given up yet on having Overeem fight it seems. Would be ridiculous but maybe there's some loophole as he didn't have a license when he failed the test.

He's riled some people with some negative comments about soccer. I watch soccer, always have, always will, but it's a grossly flawed sport played primarily by a bunch of precious soft *****.

Indian Super Fight League 2 was on yesterday. Todd Duffee the only drawcard.

The commentators constantly banging on about his "big left hook", as did the interviewer in the ring after the fight, they must have said it 5-10 times. The only problem was it was a right hook.

Good card, some really nice finishes and brawls.

Was a fun card. The Pickett/Page fight was fantastic and some of the finishes were top shelf. I thought Gustafsson looked very impressive in the main event but I was a bit disappointed that Silva didn't try to mix in a take down to two.

Good fights all the way through from the prelims to the main card. Agree that Silva should have tried to get the fight to the ground, instead he was content looking for the KO blow. Bahadurzada with an awesome finish, Page/Pickett was great, Siver/Nunes was good, Stann finished with power. Another good card as most of late have been.

Edit: How many times did the commentators say how similar Gustafsson is to Jon Jones? I think they tried pushing that a bit much. After the fight Mike Goldberg saying how the look on Silva's face was similar to the look on Jones' opponents face was funny, that's the look of disappointment on many fighters faces after a loss.

Goldy was just trying to hype a potential Gustafsson v Bones fight. They do have similar stand up styles but I think Jones has much more to his arsenal than Gustafsson has currently. Would be interesting though.

That Bahadurzada short uppercut was awesome. Tagged him a beauty. Playing off the back foot sometimes does pay dividends if you know what your are doing.

The Brisbane event was reported a while ago as being the Ultimate Fighter UK vs Australia finale, right? I'm not sure if it's been confirmed that it'll be in Brisbane but I did see that it was reportedly going to be there. No dates been set.



I saw this fight pop up on a couple of MMA websites. It's an Australian fight from the weekend, not the greatest fight but a lot of heart shown in round 2.
