As anyone that played against C Judd in schoolboy footy will be able to tell you, the guy is a ratbag.

Was known for grabbing and squeezing ones sack if you were at the bottom of a pack.

Is the guy a good footballer? 2 brownlows, some b&fs, all australians, twice captain, premiership player etc etc

Is the guy a dirty footballer? 2 x eye gauging reports, 1 elbowing incident, chicken wing tackle. Simply cant argue this.

Barely anything in it. If this wasn't Chris Judd we'd be saying, "That doesn't look good", then move on.

It seems there are tons of Judd haters out there that just want to see him gone because I guess they hate the fact that he was maybe gifted a brownlow, or perhaps they think he's a protected species, his special VISY deal or they're just plain old jealous.

Let's stick to the facts. Judd did something that looked fairly bad, didn't injure anyone (it simply exacerabated an existing injury according to the MRP medical analysis) and it was dealt with by the North players when they dumped him on his arse.

He should get fined for misconduct. If the tribunal go nuts on this and he gets weeks then it's for no other reason than the media circus that's surrounding this. Some of the comments I've heard by the football media, who I find distasteful at the best of times, have already had him tried and executed in an effort to make themselves feel important.

I am really looking forward to his interview after the fact. Hopefully it tops his Steven Segal one.

It's not JUST the chicken wing that is smearing Judd's reputation here. Carlton supporters need to understand it's the fact that this is now the 5th dirty act from Judd dating back to 2005. He is clearly a dirty player, but everyone in the media is too scared to come out and say it.

It's amazing when you put his history and MRP results up against Franklin. Judd is possibly the dirtiest player in the league, with a long history of unsavoury incidents. Yet every single incident gets swept under the carpet.

Franklin has half a dozen suspensions, from charging to rough conduct, including such things as:

Having an opponent slip and fall into him
Laying a correct bump to the chest that was so heavy the opponent suffered whiplash.
Getting too low in laying a bump, so his opponent's head snapped forward and knocked himself out.
Sliding on his knees to win a contested ball, his shoulder making contact to an opponent from side on.
Laying a tackle.

The single most important contributor to the treatment a player gets is how the media treats him.

More than being a dog has he ever fronted anyone one on one... Nah he's gutless. He waits to they are pinned then gets them and slips out the back....

At the risk of being off line as I haven't seen that particular one, most "chicken wing" tackles are at least genuine tackling attempts ie. a player restricting another player in a contest. Adams was out of any contest as was Judd.

Yes, in OUR eyes it was ruined after the Campbell Brown eye gouge.

But the media continued to put him on a pedastool, as did the umps. But I think one more incident, and even the media and umps will turn on him.
