Is there anything to suggest that the 'one other player' actually did whatever it was that led to the investigation while at his current club? If not, could be Sam Lonergan or Angus Monfries. I hope it's not Angus.

"Asked then if Essendon was the club McLachlan had referred to when mentioning "multiple players", the deputy chief said "yeah"."
Fair to say you'll be quiet now

That Essendon asked for once it found it was being investigated by ASADA & the ACC no doubt. Naive much.So after all the bitching and moaning we're left with an investigation into Essendon that Essendon itself asked for?

THE investigation into use of supplements at Essendon was not prompted by the release of a wide-ranging Australian Crime Commission (ACC) report, AFL chief executive Andrew Demetriou says.
"The Essendon story came about because the football club approached the AFL in recent days and asked the AFL and ASADA to conduct an investigation because they were being asked certain questions by people, including the media, and the chairman took it upon himself to ask various people around the club and then came to the AFL," said Demetriou.
Govt stooges used the words darkest day, not the mediaMore like LOL media.
Apparently there are 6 NRL clubs, which is more than one third of the competition. Pretty big if that is true.
any 2012 bombers now with other clubs?Qld, SA and WA can let out a sigh of relief, (non-Essendon) Vic/Nsw clubs can let out a slightly softer sigh knowing they only have one potential player at risk.
Monfries- to portany 2012 bombers now with other clubs?
If the reported 6 NRL clubs are true, then it is in fat a very dark day in Australian sport. It was parts of the AFL media probably fuelled by places like BF that had every second AFL implicated.Govt stooges used the words darkest day, not the media

Rubbish..Vlad is working very hard in 'back room deals' to minimize the damage to Essendon and the AFL.
Vlad is a master at using his broom.
Pretty much guaranteed. Rumours are never wrong. It would seem Fremantle or any other team would be derelict in their duty if they were to pursue him as a free agent at year end.how sure are we that Buddy is the individual? His name keeps popping up. Is it conjecture based on his contract renegotion hold and pull out of indigenous game? Or is the rumour based on a leak?
