Just catching up a few days worth and have to say that, in 50 years of footy, Bruce Doull is the only player I have ever seen that spoiled to advantage on a very regular basis. There was only one player to ever consistently get the better of him and that was Daicos. The battles between the two were worth a lot more than the admission money.

Would have loved to have seen Doull at his best. Shame that I really only remember the last couple of years he played.

I do however remember alot of Wayne Johnstons career, and he's easily my favoutite Carlton player of all time. Loved the big stage, and performed more often that not. Absolute GUN!

Not sure how my post disappeared but it's all pretty pointless anyway. Calling a bloke soft or whatever after he beat you in nearly every physical contest is pretty foolish.

I wasn't blaming you or any of the other mods Aph, as I said, I'm pretty clumsy on here at the best of times.

come on Aph... 8 times out of 10, it is the mods deleting something... most of the other 2 times it's numbers cleaning up after a good night on the herbal tea

Can anyone tell me whats happening with Laidler, Duigan Mitchell and McCarthey? It seems like these 4 aren't in MM game plan? It must be very frustrating not being in the senior team because the VFL is a complete Joke, they don't play week in week out, its impossible to show how you are going when there is No games. The Interstate teams have there players playing every week in the SANFL and WAFL and when there players come in its with game time behind them and form. The AFL needs to do something about it, bring back the Reserves, atleast then our players will be playing every week and putting pressure on players in the Seniors.
