Think the Robinson connection is certainly a key reason for them taking more than a casual interest in us and the GC. Not at all concerned about our club. Or GC for that matter. Is this just a Robinson used to work for us and we'll pop around to the Gold Coast to do the same around November thing or do they actually suspect something?
If we have to give up our 3 premierships, I'll be slightly upset.

No. I think could be more than that. Hope not!! I'm pretty sure our club was clean going by what I have read. Hocking rejecting Dank, Geelong being drug tested during 2007 due to our form turnaround, our more edgy sports medicine efforts (eg blood transfusion by Chappy) being out in the open.I too would be somewhat perturbed.
I'd be stunned if we were in any trouble. They need to have a chat based on the Robinson connection but I have no doubt we're fine.

But individual players? Who knows? ASADA may have uncovered an unhealthy relationship.
Good! I hope that is all it is.It's a process they announced months ago.
It's related to Robinson's employment, and his self-confessed connections to Dank at that time.

I remember reading we were given a clean bill of health, thats all.
Who is "they"? AFL or ASADA?No, they announced months ago that they would investigate Geelong and Melbourne after Essendon.
However, as I pointed out above, if they really thought there was an issue, they haven't left themselves enough time to investigate it before the finals; they have said the Essendon investigation will be completed by mid-August in order to "protect the integrity of the finals" - and, of course, Geelong will be in those finals.
I don't think ASADA would say that. AFL finals would not be their thing. Guys have raced in the Tour de France still under investigation.Both.

Really?
Can't find a direct quote from ASADA right now, but I have seen it reported that ASADA have said it will be done by then.
And, of course, Evans and the other Evans and McLachlan have each stated it categorically, eg

"We're committed to bringing this investigation to an end with ASADA in August and prior to the finals series,'' McLachlan told reporters.
Sounds like a wish more than a commitment by the AFL:
Also Geelong are a big player in this year's finals. How can they bring it to an end for the finals if we are under investigation?
The words you need to focus on are "we're committed". Little bit of wiggle room there."We're committed to bringing this investigation to an end with ASADA in August and prior to the finals series,'' McLachlan told reporters."It will come to an end and there'll be a process which ... you'll be involved in, you'll be there covering it eagerly along with a lot of other journalists."Just to close this down, there'll be a number of questions on Essendon."I can see everyone leaning forward in their seats. The reality is this - there is an end in sight; it's in August.
That's what I said. Twice. If they thought we were in trouble, they've left it too late to investigate us and finalise it before the finals, ergo they don't think Geelong have a problem.

Also, I don't think it is a "joint investigation" with the AFL and ASADA like the article says.
It has been predicted that it would be wrapped up soon a couple of times now.
I can't see it being completed until they interview Dank. Without Dank, they don't have Dank's evidence, just second hand accounts of that.

I would probably top myself.
After hacking the heads off several AFL officials.
