I'm exactly like this - everyone always comments on it when they see it..

how many is a lot? i have had people comment on it too. right now i have 20 tabs open but i wouldn't consider that excessive.

Always have to stop the microwave when it hits zero but before it beeps
Always have to play a game on the iphone while on the toilet (Sudoku or AFL Mastermind). Never play them in any other situation
Go to my sent items and re-read an email 4 or 5 times after I've just sent it
Obsessively early for everything, e.g. I know it will only take 5 mins to walk to the train station but I'll be literally running to get out the door right on 15 mins
In supermarkets I never buy the item right at the front of the shelf, always reach for one two or three deep.

I do that too. From what i can tell i think it's common practice for Supermarkets to put damaged stock and items closer to the used by date at the front.

There's no rule saying you're not allowed to have any stock on the shelf.

I always look for the fresher juice. They should mark down the old stock or just not put the fresh stuff out if they didn't want everybody doing it. Why would I pay full price for something with a few days shelf life? You'd need rocks in your head.

Agreed. I personally think it borders on deception for some reason. It just doesn't sit right with me to be honest.

It's just old fashioned store keeping sense to have the items that are out of date the quickest at the front innit? Not really deception.

That said, I always get the milk that has the longest time left before it expires.

This. Bit precious to take it as deception it's basic common sense really, and most of the time damaged stock gets thrown out and if it's at the front it's probably because a customer has put it there (used to work at a supermarket).

Of course no one will judge you for reaching for the stuff with better dates but it's certainly not a multi million dollar scam by having fresher stock at the back.

Having said that, I used to work with fruit and veg and intentionally would put fresh stock at the front and watch the nimrods dig for the 'newer' stuff.

I always leave heaps of tabs open too, usually have at a minimum, GD, facebook, reddit and ebay open, then open anything new in a new tab.

Not the worst idea for refrigerated items, often the very front items are a few degrees warmer than those at the back, more often than not they actually sit above acceptable temp ranges.
