It's true Essendon are cooked nomatter what happens with the ASADA investigation. Would you buy a Tru-Value Solar system knowing it's funding Essendon who in turn fund dodgy pharnaceutical companies and possibly organised crime ? Sponsors won't be lining up to support Essendon and if they do they won't be investing big $ that will only do damage to their brand name. Will the fair weather supporters take out memberships next year knowing that this damage will lead to decline ? Essendon will be financially screwed and begging the AFL for financial assistance but will they get it ? The AFL should merge Essendon with that other basket case Melbourne and dip into their pockets once and not twice because Essendon has gone past the tipping point of any future.

The *powers that be at *essendon will need to assure themselves that *mr. little, the new chief at *essendon, is happy to dip into his "small" fortune of around $780m to cover all of the various legal actions that they may wish to contemplate.
