Top 3 is the best we can achieve without other results going our way. I just don't see Geelong or Hawthorn losing the games we want them to. I'm definitely going for The Wrangles tonight though!!

Well then, as much as this turns my stomach.......GO E-GIRLS :D

I see Hawthorn losing to Sydney in Sydney. Also North are a huge risk for them.

Haven't Essendon officially hit the free-fall now. Looks like the Bombers are shot down and just making the numbers for the top 8.
This is one of the reasons I said a couple of months ago that stripping them of premiership points isn't the right punishment. They're not on track for a GF anyway, so what does that achieve?

Draft picks, I say. Hit them long term, not for one season they may not have much impact on anyway (on-field).

Like I said somewhere else, there is probably an agreement behind closed doors to be no premiership threat in exchange for little punishment .

With the level of animosity between Essendon and the AFL right now do you really think such an arrangement could be kept confidential.
This whole fiasco has reached a point of no return. The verdict and penalty will need to be unequivocal and substantial.
It can't afford to be another outcome like the Melbourne tanking debacle.
Mike Fitzpatrick would surely have to move on the executive.

Essendon's performances in recent games appears to be the effects of knowing they aren't going to be playing finals.

Needs to be more serious than just draft picks.
