A poor performing MELBOURNE based club perhaps.
Sounds like GoDees ;)
Tough on Luke. Paul Swans is a big name coach, but I am not sure who I'd rather choose out of those two clubs...

Grima's short and long term durabiltiy are massive risks, as a supporter I'd have hoped Luke would back himself to be the heir apparent or even demand Grima's spot through performance.

He's opted for a different path which is his perogative.

That's a fair point, but it also depends on how Scott rates him.

Whilst I agree that he is important depth for Grima for injuries, and who I also think is a bit vulnerable if Delaney could lift a cog, if Delaney got the msg he is seen as purely depth (ala Greenwood - rightly or wrongly) he wouldn't want to wait for that opportunity.....to then be overtaken by a free agent, his brother, or so on anyway.

Scott seems firm in his views of players which lends itself a little to why he had to leave. I personally think he made a wise choice considering his age.

Although we don't necessarily classify him as a KPD, I think people are forgetting Lachie Hansen here as well...

He can do a reasonable job on a key forward if required.

Agree on the concerns over Grima's durability, and although I wish him well at his new club, Luke was never going to be in a position to take Grima's spot through any other avenue excpept for injury.

Grima's capabilities as an AFL footballer are significantly greater than Luke's, to the point that I rate him as important to our defence as Mr AA himself (and as an added bonus he also now has the ability to drift forward and kick goals!).

Grima is a swing man. :p

Has anyone heard if there has been any interest for:

- Greenwood
- Liam Anthony
- Ben Speight
- Ayden Kennedy

Would've thought at least the first two would attract some interest from rival clubs..

How much talking could they be doing?? U bet everyone is just sitting around waiting...on Facebook etc..

They're all just sifting through the trade threads on BigFooty, trying to get ideas...

Unfortunately, like the rest of us, this is simply delaying the work they actually should be doing.

No interest for early 4th round or better but some will go towards the end to free up list space.

Didn't you heard North can trade Greenwood and Anthony for pick #2 if they wanted.

That was a classic, it took me 10 minutes to clean my monitor from the coffee I sprayed out bursting into laughter. They need to pre-record the call ins and warn listeners that comedy is approaching.

Speight is a delisted rookie. What interest could he generate? Unless you want to add Richardson to this list? ;)

LA would probably be a good depth player at a couple of clubs. Kennedy may get a rookie spot somewhere and Greenwood is probably the only one on this list who could at least get us something in theory. Add Wright to this list as well.
