Rebecca Wilson, stated on the radio earlier that her information is that the Judge has come to the conclusion that there is evidence for other cases to go forward.

She stated that they will be from both codes, the AFL and NRL.

Interesting where she gets her info from or if she has cred, 12 players named must be nervie.

There is just too much evidence that something went on down there and thanks to Essendon* and Dank 'destroying' the evidence and not monitoring it properly, it's not behoove of the officials to prove guilt, it's the job of the accused in this case to prove innocence.

One way or another... Essendon* are getting done, St Jimmy the shiny is going to receive a lifetime ban for orchestrating a sophisticated doping regime, Bomber should also get banned for 2 years for his part in it. Dank will be done for life as well for his role in running the show and Dave Evans will be banned for life as well.

Of the 12 players named, a number of them will be basically banned for life when it comes down to it. We are going to be talking 18 month - 2 year bans which would effectively kill their careers.

Jab Watson will have ASADA strip his brownlow from him.

If it comes out that Joe Daniher was involved before he was drafted, along with the life time bans, people are going to be looking at jail time.

Dank for all his bluster about having his day in court if he is charged with anything will fold like an origami crane and blow away. If he tries to sue people, he will be obliged to offer up his records to prove that nothing that went on was illegal (in his eyes) and then the DPP will step in and he will get done over for trying to pervert the course of justice and obstructing a federal investigation.

Essendon* are cooked... in fact, they are starting to look like the bottom of the pot that my alcoholic housemate burnt last night.

Not an easy man to like, but he oversaw a pretty huge period in AFL interstate expansion and TV rights. Game expanded ($$$) wise hugely in his reign.

His weaknesses will always be his neglect of the grassroots supporter IMO. Which is why he's so hated, despite growing the game exponentially.

Also, he's just thrown Maclachlan under a bus with the ASADA thing.

With the judge's report in and Danks case on the brink of being heard I'd suspect something very soon. Nothing I've heard though.

Think about the stars aligning:

1. Paul Little's comment. Why did Paul Little say the self-reporting was a mistake, only weeks after telling Hird & Co to shut it? He now knows that they are going to get smashed, that self-reporting will not matter one bit to ASADA, and that it only benefitted the AFLs desire for a clean finals series.

2. EFC form drop. They really are not playing like a motivated team right now. Again, I think they know they're about to get done. Are the rumours that eight players are suing the club correct?

3. ASADA reformation. Seems like they are re-booting, getting ready to strike. The Downes report, Dank show cause notice, new chief coming and WADA looking on.

Exciting times for people who like their sports to be drug-free.

Just to clarify, the 12 players named earlier in the year who told ASADA they were injected with AOD9604:

Hurley, Bellchambers, Hocking, Melksham, Hibberd, Hardingham, Crameri, Ricky Dyson, Sam Lonergan, Gumbleton, Alex Browne, Tayte Pears, Jobe Watson, Dyson Heppell.

Now there's talk around that Bombers won't get done for AOD but sounds like people just getting impatient and doubting their initial thoughts. At the very least WADA will insist on an appeal.

If ASADA has said that they are not going after players for AOD, it will be because they have proof that a larger number of players were injected with Thymosin B4.

Yes, AOD is on the S0 register... but thanks to all the mud that was stirred up last year with Dank and the missing letter/email from ASADA, people are going to be a bit suspect about whether AOD was legal or not when the players were getting injected with it despite what WADA said.
