What do people think about Lewis Johnston from the Crows? Haven't heard any news in regards to him as a trade target, but I've seen a few SANFL games locally this year and he could definitely be a value type trade or possibly late draft pick if he is delisted. Has played as a forward in the Crows senior team but has been shifted into defence in the reserves and seems a likely type. 23 years old, 193cm. Beautiful kick of the footy. Could be a handy swing man 3rd tall type that would be an upgrade on a White or McInnes type. Honestly, his foot skills really appeal and maybe if he's given an extended run in our seniors could develop into a good player.

I talked him up last trade period & he's been pretty useless . Doesn't seem to have a lot of desire. Damn good kick though.

If the cows delist him & he's willing to move down to Melb then there could be a spot on the rookie list for him.

Actually RB, we don't deal with the reality. You can convince every person on this site that we need to be risky or whatever you are gunning for, and the club will still do what they feel is best.

For a fair price I don't see the harm. Doesn't cost us a draft pick and saves us from using picks in the 100s if we want to cut deep into the list.

hes not good as a forward? mate look at his goal kicking stats. he has had 1 goal kicked against him since he has been back and kicked 2 goals from the back lines! crows are stupid if they give him the flick

More like 1/2 a list whilst carrying injured players too.

Not only is our injury list long & filled with best 22 players, we also have 3 players less (Duigan, Scotto, Boots) + Robbo & Jeffy unavailable. I'm not arguing their quality, but more so it just decreases the number of players we have to pick from.

He's had his injuries but he's a really classy type who can play all over the ground. He's quality much like Murphy and Thomas, I think they were the same draft. Would be really happy to get him. I think he'd add plenty to our team.

They are desperate for a young Key forward, has been openly stated, particularly one who can ruck, I can see them being all over this. Going from pick 1 to pick 5 may not be much of a difference, it tends to be that way and I think that might be the general consensus of this draft.

But Levi isn't very young and he really isn't a key forward, moreso a roaming tall who plays in the ruck.
