The Book of Eli - Pretty average considering the cast on offer and the cool setting. 5/10
Predestination - Really wanted to like it more but it dragged a bit for me. No really memorable scenes but the performances and aspects of the script were top notch. Although not sure what Noah Taylor was doing with that accent :D. 6.5/10

Apocalyptic - Aussie made 'found footage' romp about a doomsday cult living a cut-off society out in the bush. Kinda creepy & not as crap as most of these types of flicks. For this genre I'd rate it a 6/10.

Seems to be a regular thing for Ryan Reynolds movies.
Yeah, should stick to comedy although I thought he did a good supporting job in 'Safe House' even though Denzel made it what it was..

Blame the director above all else.

Into the storm

Hard to judge this one. I'll point out the biggest flaw which was the acting, they went really low budget and it shows. One of the dwarfs from The Hobbit (the head angry drawf) plays a normal person and hes surprisingly tall, but a horrible actor who had a batman voice on the whole movie. The lead female and the lead storm chaser were the only noticable faces and respectable actors, while everyone else fumbled there way through what looked to be their first ever movie

The action and storm sequences though were really good and the plot overall was good as well. A few cliches here and there but still a little different. Some tense scenes as well which was good.

Overall though, I just spent the entire movie trying to look past the horrible acting and for the most part the rest was great.

2/5 couldve easily been a 3.5/5 if they spent some money on talant.

Disneys Maleficent

A modern adaptation of sleeping beauty. As with many movies in contemporary time we are shown important events from an opposing, or less well known, side (i.e. Letters from Iwo Jima).

Starring Jolie as the "evil" Maleficent, Maleficent tells the story behind sleeping beauty, and how she came to being. The A Teams Murdoch (Copley) portrays the vengeful King who will stop at no end to defeat the "evil" that lies beyond the wall. Elle (Dakoka's younger sister) is the angelia and innocent Sleepy.

Some special effects may scare young children.

2.5/5

Yeah saw this last night. Started off really cool then let way down at the end IMO.

Jurassic Park

In hindsight, an amusement park with dinosaurs was a really terrible idea.

I still love that movie.

Hard to find any flaws in it for mine...

I meant conceptually within the story. Yeah it's still a great movie.
