One story that has surprised me is that Mckenna is under pressure. I reckon he is doing an ok job. I do wonder what role Ablett is playing up there. There was that interesting Wayne Carey article mid season about Ablett doing as he pleases up there. Hopefully some cultural problems setting in. Sacking the coach would be a great way for them to start unraveling.

Yes but Carey got it wrong on Ablett. In an interview McKenna said that he made the decision to let Gary stay in Melbourne etc and in hindsight that was wrong because it put Gary in the spotlight for the wrong reasons. McKenna said he made all of those decisions, not Gary and that Gary never whinged or asked for anything unreasonable. Me thinks Carey might be just having a dig because Gary is a better player and recognised as so.
