Here I was thinking that the depths of stupid had been plumbed on this board. Man, was I wrong?

Tony Abbott the left-centrist...

Be on the lookout for other entertaining works of fiction from the same author, coming to a shit bookshop near you:

James Hird the much-loved...
Adam Goodes the much-respected...
Eric Abetz - man of the people...

You have a heart of gold Mal.

It's just when you post something that is obviously full of shit, then don't expect to get taken seriously from then on. It's your own credibility at stake, so you've only got yourself to blame. I only really care when it gets to the point of trolling (i.e. derails the thread with an outlandish statement that I know you don't believe yourself, and have only really posted on the thread just to stir up shit).

It's your grave brother.

I reckon that is fairly accurate, Abbott is certainly to the left of Hawkie.

Now you have company.

How about we bring this back to the ABC and cut the trolling fellas.

Socialism is not left wing?

From the ALP constitution

The Australian Labor Party is a democratic socialist party and has the objective of the democratic socialisation of industry, production, distribution and exchange, to the extent necessary to eliminate exploitation and other anti-social features in these fields.

Come on Lester, you know that this is the only constitution Billy Boy abides by

Please Lester lets not set this up again - that text did not even have any reality when Maurice Blackburn drafted it! Lenin himself claimed there was nothing socialist about the Labor Party. You have been peddling this nonsense for years and it was dealt with comprehensively in this thread: http://www.bigfooty.com/forum/threads/is-the-alp-a-socialist-party.1039238/

How was it dealt with?

The fact that Socialism has moved right does not mean that the ALP does not identify as a Socialist party ie left wing. Last time I looked Plibersek, Wong, Ferguson, and Albo are members of 'Socialist Left'.

The Xsess brains trust has met today and would like to make the following announcement;

In response to your laughable claim of my posting bias, I have commissioned a full independent enquiry into myself, to be chaired by myself in a no stone left unturned review of my posting history. While I have no idea what the enquiry will uncover, I know this will restore my proud reputation of independent posting. No questions, thanks.

Under your definition, fascism is left wing [/QUOTE]

But this is true

But this is true

No it's not.

Fascism is commonly described as far right on the political spectrum,[33][34] although some writers have found placing fascism on a conventional left-right political spectrum difficult.[35][36][37][38][39]

Fascism was influenced by both left and right, conservative and anti-conservative, national and supranational, rational and anti-rational.[37] A number of historians have regarded fascism either as a revolutionary centrist doctrine, as a doctrine which mixes philosophies of the left and the right, or as both of those things.[38][39]Fascism was founded during World War I by Italian national syndicalists who combined left-wing and right-wing political views.
