If Saturday morning cartoons have taught me anything - and they have - is that a strong blow to the head creates amnesia, but a second blow restores all memories.

I therefore assume given *Hird's amnesiac state over the last two years, this smack on the head will have restored all memories of the 2012 PED program, such that he can now tell us exactly what drugs were given to whom.
