Really really bad. Comically bad. Will get in newspapers overseas bad.

But the yellow one has some kind of corny charm. It'll be in newspapers here in 15 years for the worst Australian sports strips ever. In a weird way, that's sometimes a half good promotion for a club like the Mariners. Even the yellow shorts... the full yellow... I kind of love it. That Adelaide shirt is just lame, like a half-arsed local manufacturer would churn out for some school side. But this is at least... trying? I don't know. But I'd almost rather something like this in the competition, than something knock-off looking.

The away is really bad though with the false outline.

The whole thing is just so bizarre. It's like one of those NASL shirts.

I found it interesting that the Mariners kit actually made the radio news here in Sydney. One of the presenters was all for it, whilst the other guy thought it was a complete joke. Loved hearing their argument this morning
