So Firritto gets a week based on the Carlton medical report but in this case the medical report is not taken into consideration. Stop agreeing and defending this joke of a panel. They are either f***ing imbeciles or corrupt. GAGF.

I thought the whole new system was introduced so when petty incidents like these occur, where no one is injured, the players cop a fine and everyone moves on. In reality it is just as grey and cloudy and riddled with inconsistencies as the previous system.

Damn i got that one wrong..
Anyhow if it gives Dumont his chance then i hope he takes it...

I stand corrected.

The MRP continues to be a joke.

Take away the "it was stupid", "he wasn't going for the ball" etc.

The same incident has been let go numerous times this year, until Spud became the first to get done.

The only reason he has copped a suspension is the "medium" impact, not due to stupidity or not going for the footy. The guy got straight back up and kicked a goal, played out the game perfectly fine.

I thought Firrito pushed the envelope to be honest.

I can handle 1 week. Accept and move on.

What a joke though that riewoldts bump on Higgins wasn't even looked at. Didn't deserve suspension but still should've been looked at. Pretty sure he made contact with Higgins jaw too.

Theres a special rule there where if a player has done wrong against an AFL pin up boy Plays in the same team then its ok.....written in the bylaws, hidden underneath piles of bullsch1t.

If it was to the body and not the head he would recieve a fine only

similar incidents have been judged less harshly all year, Spud on Franklin and Lewis on Goldy for example. I reckon he's pretty stiff
I did say realistically. He isn't much of a MRP pet.

I think you'll find Lewis got 2 weeks for his hit on Goldy, Ziebel only got 1 week, for the same action, best take the week.
I think Lewis was later and connected more although I agree Ziebs should take the week. I don't think he physically hurt the bloke.
