I would assume so, and also the impending Dixon addition. I would imagine they'll try to rookie him but I'd be pretty surprised if somebody didn't pounce on him before then if he's interested.

Right yeah, Dixon in also. But you'd think that they would make a decision on Schultz first since that's who is being replaced by Dixon. Their ruck stocks might be a bit thin if down to Lobbe & Ryder since Dixon's ankles are shot and all that.

Wouldn't mind Redden or Shaw, both have years in the AFL system.

Billy Frampton's a young, developing option in the ruck that the club seems to have a lot of faith in. Butcher can also be used as a ruck if worst comes to absolute worst. I am surprised they'd move on both Harvey and Redden in the same cut though.

Hey people. My first post was an airy. Just learning. I too hope Clay can resurrect a career, tough as nails and we could do with the bit of mongrel he has. Heard he likes to get on the turps with his mates up in bairnsdale hope he gives himself the best chance of getting back. Unfortunate but the game these days doesn't really allow for it. Funnily enough about four/5 years ago a bloke claiming to be a mate of Jarrod Grants told me that he was sneaking down the peninsula and getting right on it with his cronies. hope your faith is repaid in full your majesty and next year he realises his potential. He has a physical presence which adds value and is always welcome in any side. When does a side ever field it's best 22 anyway? He will make it. Re getting on it though the effects of the grog don't always manifest themselves in physical ways.

Second rounder could be around the 40 mark after FA/Compo picks are taken into account.

Port have delisted Mitch Harvey and Jarrad Redden. I would jump on one of them as a delisted free agent instantly - particularly Redden.

Dont really remember harvey from his draft year but it seems early to delist a tall 2nd round pick who was a but of a long term prospect. Wonder if there's a something more than ability holding him back. Redden has been around a while so should be entering his prime. Both seem worth a rookie spot
