Got a feeling there is a big name in the wings waiting to announce they want in to us. Swanny has a bit of swagger about him leading into this trade period. Feels a bit 2014 to me.Who? I have no idea. (p.s. Bell is not a big name).

I'm really warming to Weitering...super solid CHB who was swung forward in Q4 in today's Prelim. and nearly won the game for his team

Yep, which is why Carlton simply won't pass him up. Leaving us with Schache (minus the pressure of the number 1 pick) and we never have to play "what if" on Weitering.
Happy with that.

To be honest I think the only reason Schache has come into calculations for pick 1 in the 1st place is our link to him. Schache is probably behind Francis as well but at least we finally get a chance to draft a top tier KPF. I guess he will be wearing number 23?

Schache is second best but first need,pretty happy with that.
Schache kicked more goals than anyone else in the under 18 championships (24, previous best was 18 by Patton). He absolutely deserves to be in the conversation for number 1. Statistically he's in front of Patton, McCartin etc at the same point. Weitering is clearly a superb player and man in the making with leadership qualities etc and will likely be an A grader but key forwards are more valuable in the way they impact games and how rare they are.

It won't be a PP imo,but compo isn't totally insane.
The weird thing is,winning the last game makes it more possible.The sensationalism of giving a team 2 and 3 versus 1 and 2 is somewhat muted.
