This is what i can imagine happening if the rumoured trades eventuate:

Henderson, 20 and 56 for 9, 46 and walker

bell and casboult for pick 19

yarran for pick 18 from hawks (or yaz and 19 for pick 12 and 32 from tigs)

18 for tomlinson and lamb

19 for plowman sumner and phillips

Go to draft with: 1 (weitering) 9 (matheison/weideman type) 38 (rice) 46 (SOSOS)

2016 lineup:

Buckley Jamison Tuohey
Docherty weitering Plowman
Simpson Gibbs Boekhorst
Daisy Tomlinson Menzel
Everitt Walker Jaksh
Kruezer Murphy Cripps

Emergencies: pick 9 White lamb rowe whiley etc


Not a bad looking lineup really? simpson jamison and andrew walker are the ageing types that need replacing soon, with likely types being brought in to cover for them in the future

i was trying to be as realistic as possible. everyone keeps going on about getting pick 21 and 22 for cas and bell. cmon, we are kidding ourselves if we think that. Id say the both for a late first early second is about right.
I love the both of them and don't want to see them leave, but if you can't kick you lose a lot of value i would have thought.

maybe 18 and sicily from hawks for yarran?

i would have thought that tomlinson is worth 18 alone so throwing in lamb is steak knives

i also reckon plowman is worth about 20 so sumner and phillips are also the knives here?



how about edited:

Less games in 2 teams that have far superior lists to ours.

He quit Sydney due to salary cap pressure because of the Franklin signing.

He may yet remain at GWS. Either way, he's performed in the NEAFL and they won't promote him to the seniors.

I agree. Aish opting to go to Collingwood has really opened the door for us to get either Treloar or Aish. Is they fail to land Treloar, he will go in PSD. However Aish might go into ND and hence we would struggle to land him

I agree. Aish opting to go to Collingwood has really opened the door for us to get either Treloar or Aish. Is they fail to land Treloar, he will go in PSD. However Aish might go into ND and hence we would struggle to land him

We have to get someone with pick 1 in the pre season draft and its usually a pretty good player.

Carlton can offer that, maybe not so much in your current state (No disrespect as we're in the same boat) but once you guys are up and about, just as high profile as Collingwood.

Leigh & Swann have both said he won't be traded but that's not obviously a given.

Well he could play part of the Bell trade or come through in the PSD but I don't know why he'd call out Collingwood if he was ok going to Melbourne.
