i have said Neale is our version of Sam Mitchell, meaning a nuggety inside mid. i realise he doesn't look like Mitchell knee like Mitchell. It was more a compliment to Neale because of how fine a player Mitchell is.

i understand where you are coming from, Carlton are going on about how Cripps is Fyfe like, now while you might have a giggle and a WTF moment, they are really paying Fyfe the ultimate compliment.

i am genuinely interested in how good Mitchell was at the same age, i rate Lachie very highly.

Freo can agree to trade Fyfe, Neale, Hill and Walters for McCarthy and the deal won't be done because none of the Freo boys would agree.

One thing I've never agreed with RTB on is his "What's confidence?It's only a feeling.Maybe a good feeling but you don't need it." yarn,or however it goes.
Mayne has been told and wants to believe that sticking to the visualisation/every molecule in the same constituent geometric relationship gets the ball to go straight through the big sticks.
When he was kicking at whatever % accuracy he was in 2013 he was much more relaxed,confident and fluid/looser on the ball strike and follow through.Shit that actually does come from between the lugholes.
Bennell and SonSon exude confidence in their kicking styles and I've no doubt this affects their accuracy.
I know they have contrasting physiques,I've always wondered if Ross maintains this line behind closed doors.

To be fair, Mayne has really only had one or two seasons of accuracy in his goal kicking, with one exceptional year.
Before that, he was absolutely shizen in front of goal, especially right in front at close range. I'm not sure he can ever become consistent at goal kicking. He should be a depth player IMHO, unfortunately we are light-on for quality KP forwards. Hopefully he will prove me wrong and have a 50 plus year.
