I've never understood why thermometers can't pick up wind?

Wind effects temperature does it not?

No idea. But if you walk behind a building and shelter yourself from the wind you can't feel it right. I'm guessing something same along the lines of possibly the glass protecting it

true on both accounts. however i take it you moved away from the air movement stemming from the fan in the end.

am overseas currently and thankfully hotel provides a sheet that lays under the doona. protects me from the herpes and what not breeding in the doona (i wonder if its washed at all). i find the sheet helps protect also against intra doona movement. in your traveling experience, did you find this too (application of sheet)?

residing in a hotel in a city previous notorious for, how you say, whores. a large KTV and bar in the basement, used to see many of these working girls wearing the same clothes and slippers only found in hotel rooms the next morning at breakfast.

the city underwent a major clean up, and this industry was obliterated....publically. hotels were put on notice and told to clean it up. sadly, overtly these girls (working hard to make a living) are no where to be seen. but they are around, just need to know where to find them.....

oh you asked about the doona. well, yes, without empirical or technological equipment and testing, one assumes that bedding sets still harbour our friendly little critters....

He texted me around 4:30 to say whether I can work than around 5:30 he cancelled my shift....

Seems like it's a bit of a grey area if the shift isn't actually on the roster. Dodgy yes, but not much you can do.

Getting home from my day job at 6 and working on my own business stuff until 1am every night, basically achieving very little in the process. Then the thought that I will also be adding uni to the things to do after deferring last semester in the coming weeks has me looking for a heroin dealer in the classifieds.
