I don't disagree. I think it's a specious argument to make regarding the detrimental effects in moving down the order two spots. Picks are only relative to the draft they are in and instances like that shouldn't be an argument why it's better to be two spots higher. The exact same argument could be made in reverse for other areas of the draft (ie Basti and Fyfe). I was just pointing out that Ellis is a very good footballer who will be elite, that's all.

I don't see Ellis being elite in the future. But each to their own.

i only know 1 of the players and he has won 3 premierships without contributing.

Again, only according to the leak, so can't claim there's any truth to it, but of the players named, one is a three-time premiership player but would probably be the bottom six of Hawthorn's side, the other is a recent draftee and has not debuted for the club. Both are very young players.
