You gotta stop paying attention to tabloid gossip...
Franklin was/is the most electrifying power forward of the past decade, he still does things for the Swans that make me stand up and go wow, I don't think we can dismiss his amazing footy prowess just because of things he may or may not have done in his personal life.
He may well be the last 100 goals in a season player we'll see for years and footy needs him back fit and firing on all cylinders, especially in the Sydney market which may be disenfranchised with the game after the disgraceful and indefensible treatment of Adam Goodes in his final season.
I would like to ask you however, in your mind, does the fact that the police have not brought charges, lead you to believe that there is absolutely no wrong doing here? Nothing to see?
There's a difference between a lack of evidence and innocence. Based on no legal action, do you believe we draw a line and conclude Martin did nothing wrong, the woman in question is "telling stories" and that this is basically a storm in a tea cup? The reason I ask is because in my field of work, I find smoke and fire, in most cases, come as a package.
Apparently we never have a bad run with injuries, on the other hand, now the Dopers don't have access to artificial means of repairing injuries, they just fall apart at the seams.Gees I dunno we had a horrndous run with injuries

Right on both counts however the ridiculous conclusion drawn by Richmond supporters that because Martin wasn't charged means that no incident occurred & therefore everyone owes the poor petal an apology, is just crap.Martin did something wrong, but no, based on the statements from Vic Pol, I have no reason to believe he committed a crime.

The reality is that much of the aggression/intimidation directed at females by males is not a criminal offence, but still has long term effects on the victims.

Fremantle's Brownlow Medallist Nat Fyfe will reportedly miss the rest of his AFL side's pre-season after rupturing a disc in his back during training.
It's understood scans showed the disc was bulging and pushing on his spinal cord, but he won't have surgery.
Well, that sucks. Don't like seeing players out with serious injuries.
17 years later and mine is still screwed after a similar injury...
too much bedroom gymnastics ???17 years later and mine is still screwed after a similar injury...
Will probably be allowed to wear padding too ...Dustin Martin will know his punishment by the end of the week. Expecting him to be whacked by a wet lettuce leaf.
Won't be an iceberg. More like a baby Cos.Dustin Martin will know his punishment by the end of the week. Expecting him to be whacked by a wet lettuce leaf.

"It comes down to how much inflammation there is around the spine and the nerves itself and that's what Freo will be monitoring because that's what gives you the pain," Larkins told Radio 6PR.
Dr Peter Larkins says Nat Fyfe will carry vulnerability in his back for the rest of his life.
