Yeah i think we all know that feeling... even the great moments are often difficult. I watched the EF with one of my best mates who is a tigers supporter. ALL of the fun i could have gained from that... but his mum had died two days earlier and instead of joy i felt bad and almost wished the tigs had won for his sake

Unfortunately unless you win the grand final your ultimately left disappointed. I decided after the adelaide loss a couple of years back when they came from 30 points down that I wasn't going to allow football to control how my mood was.

That game destroyed me... i remember it way too well and it haunts me. I think i sat stunned staring at the screen for about half an hour afterwards.

So many people struggling with the off season. It's hard to handle life with no footy, trust me i know. You just need to look around and find secondary sports to fill the gaps. I'm sure most of you already participate in this sport, but for those who don't... your welcome.

It started off as a female only sport until one day a woman said to a man "pffft you couldn't beat me at xtreme ironing" and he wanted to prove her wrong. Once he became the champion of the world (the title i just made up for the best xtreme ironer) other blokes got jealous that he seemed to think he was better than them and now literally 10's of men worldwide are actively participating in xtreme ironing.

Interesting. If the Mrs asks me to iron again I'll be informing her that I'm a xtreme ironer, so I'd prefer not to partake in the meaningless activity that is regular ironing!

I agree that 2016 will be our best chance but I don't buy this 'OMG they're going to fall of a cliff in 18 months' stuff either. Fortunately that stuff is only mentioned on BigFooty and by major Melbourne newspapers.

Hi guys. Bit of a random question, mainly aimed at those of you with kids. I've noticed (from my 5 minutes googling) that there's a lack of AFL team specific colouring books. If I was to produce a North one, probably A5 size on decent quality paper and around $10-15, would you buy it? It'd be unofficial of course, but I'm thinking a few pages with players to colour, mazes and word searches.

Be careful with Afl Licensing is all I can think of.
